Firstly, welcome to the site, and good on you for getting back into fitness.

Secondly, cut out that dessert. You know it's not helping. :P

Are you able to exercise properly now, or are there on-going limitations from your accident that effect what you can do?

yea bikes are awesome, but dangerous as fuk!

Welcome anyways, yea i know the feeling of holding your excess round your girth, most of us do! haha

a few points to consider, but the best advice i could give you re- diet and program is research: sites like this one, http://www.bodybuilding.com , will give you the basic grasp on things, and from there you can fine tune your 'theory' diet by posting up your plan in here, or as a topic in the diet/nutrition section..

As for programme, as pseudonym says, before peeps can advise you, post up an example of what you do now, any physical limitations, and also set aside a decent block of time to look through the training regimes in these journals - they will head you in the right direction.

Hope this helps!

Hey thanks guys you are giving me more confidence about getting right into fitness again.

no I have no limitations, nothing that I cant deal with anyway

I have only 4kg dbs excuse me as I dont know the exercise terms

15x 3 arm crunches

15x3 arm extensions ( out to the side)

15x 3 laying flat on the floor with arms curling

15x 3 arms stretching back over my head with back arched

15x3 lifting my legs and bending them in for abs

70ea on my side lifting my leg up and down same with the other leg

10x 3 lying on my side with arm straight out lifting up and down

5 mins with my punching bag

20 mins power walking machine

Im normally stuffed by the end and have a good soak in the bath

Im going to stop desserts as you have said

Ive only got 4kg dbs because when I was in the sad state 2 years ago that was all the physio said to use as I was to just exercise and stretch my body

thanks again guys for the support

regards Pete
