Not too many masters III lifters (60-70) so the current NZ record is only 150kg for deadlift for the 75kg class and 242.5kg for the world record. He's lucky he isn't in the 82.5kg class, the record is 282.5kg :shock: , held by a NZer.

Yeah looks really weak... lol... No suit or wraps or straps...

Sometimes a young guy he will ask to work in with a younger guy in deadlifts and they will be thinking "psh I dont want to unload plates all day"

No, just noone has beaten the standard. There aren't a lot of older lifters around that compete at North/South Islands or Nationals.

any way latest PB is 212.5kg he will be going for 215kg next saturday
