Congratulations on the promotion! :clap:

Well done on going to the gym even though you didn't feel like it, I do that and I end up having PBs and I'm always glad I went even though I have to drrraaaggggg my butt there sometimes!!

haha yeah, once i'm there it's always good but it just takes me motivation to walk in the doors!!

decided i'm gonna make the most of being well and stay home tonight so i can go to the gym tomorrow, \:D/

Great news all around - a promotion, and training in the face of an inconsiderate gym - great work :notworthy:

diet for today

m1: 2 pieces of toast with peanut butter

m2: glass of soy milk

m3: was craving chocolate so i had a chocolate protein shake :pfft:

m4: soy yoghurt

m5: nectarine and 5 green grapes

just started making a baseless quiche for my lunches, it's got lotsa protein in it

1/2 cup trim milk

2 x 185g tuna in springwater (drained)

250 lite cottage cheese

6 egg whites, 3 or 4 yolks

3 mushrooms to go on top

2 tablespoons of lemon juice

i hope it turns out ok!

also just bought some soy protein from sportstrition

your dogs a physco

nah she just doesn't like body builders :pfft:

today has been an awesome day!

i woke up feelin a bit sore but it wore off and i haven't felt so good in a long time so i thought today has to be a gym day!

workout:

20 mins bike, 200 calories

i've had about a whole month off weights now and i'm soooo weak!

3x10x6kg's assisted chin ups wide grip

3x10x6kg's assisted chin ups close grip

3x10x12kg's calf raises

3x10x12kg's leg extensions

2x10x12kg's bicep curls

2x10x40kg's leg press

my diet has been really shit today, probably the reason i almost fainted after the leg press :shock:

m1: 1/2 serve sculpt, coffee

m2: half a piece of that quiche that i made last night (i cut it into 6 pieces), coffee

m3: nectarine + 1/2 serve sculpt with water (instead of milk)

m4: chicken salad (lettuce, cucumber, avocado)

m5: handful of raisins

m6: handful of almonds

not really feeling like eating much, needa get my liver checked out as i'm getting this gross bile taste in my mouth all the time

Tuesday

Workout:

20 mins HIIT on bike

10x3x12kg's hamstring curls

10x3x12kg's leg extensions

10x3xno extra weight hack squat

10x3x40kg's leg press

8x3x6kg dumbell lunges

2x3pulses with lunge (ouch) x6kg dumbells

Foods:

m1: 1/2 serve sculpt, coffee

m2: coffee, 1/2 piece of protein quiche i made

m3: pre work out bananananaana

m4: post workout half serve sculpt with water and a bit of dextrose

m5: rice, 1/4 naan bread, spicy chicken indian thing

m6: some of someones birthday cake :o

didn't do any arms today as my elbows are swollen from the small workout on monday, hopefully they'll be better by tomorrow!

also weigh in today.. hmmm.... 66.4kg's....hmmmmm :( no more cake for bec bec

i'm waiting on some of that soy protein powder from sportstrition, hopefully it's not too foul!

was an exception with my anti-inflammatory diet, i love indian food! :pfft:

btw seems your getting your stuff together, well done girl. A piece of advice from someone with body weight issues; ditch the scales, they wont tell you anything useful. your much better doing wat bg suggested and looking at yourself in the mirror each morning. your weight may not change but as you put in the work your body composition will and this will be visible in the mirror :D

i think i needa add something else to the quiche cause it tastes like arse, might ditch the cottage cheese as i've never been a fan. haha we can't keep my dog at the front door anymore, we keep her in her massive as run that we built for her, it's awesome as!

day off from the gym today, decided i'm not doing myself too much good if my muscles still hurt loads, will do a quick 10 min ab workout tonight though. It's such satisfaction to have sore muscles and not sore joints!!

m1: 1/2 serve sculpt, coffee

m2: handfull of raisins, coffee

m3: small piece of gluten free citrus slice (boss wanted me to try it... well rather she asked who wanted the broken bit and i said i'd have it :oops: ) and coffee

m4: 2xpeanut butter on lite bread (rice thingies)

m5: yoghurt

m6: small piece of steak, 1 cup veges

fair nuff. i would say a bit more protein would in your diet would help, dont know how it works in with your joint stuff but meat with every meal is great for bumping up your protein. and of course that will help with muscle recovery
