i've gotta avoid products with gluten in them, potatoes, capsicum, tomato, i'm meant to avoid dairy but F^%K THAT!!, highly processed foods and red meat (again f that) and i have to eat foods rich in omega 3 fatty acids, fish, legumes, berries and drink lotsa water! gonna try this for 8 weeks and see if it makes a difference, anything to get back to the gym and be able to move the next day :pray:

Very little real food in there Becbec!

Sample of what I eat in a day:

Post training shake

Oats + 3 egg whites + flaxseed

2 hard boiled egg whites or one low fat yoghurt + apple

Salad & tuna or chicken + corn thins (x4)

2 hard boiled egg whites or one low fat yoghurt

Fish or chicken and vegies

Aren't you starving most of the time?

nope! i used to eat 3 meals a day really spaced out so my metabolism is realllllyyyy slow

for example today for breakfast i had 1/2 serve sculpt and a plum, then at 10.30 i had a handfull of almonds and didn't need to eat till 3.30! i wasn't even hungry i was just really low on blood sugar

Yum that diet looks good. Have you tried the tuna with garlic and olive oil? Flamers right though on the days you do manage to train you may need to up your calories

i don't like the pre packaged ones with oil in them, they make me gag :(

gives me an idea though... i'll make my own!

day 1 of anti-inflammatory diet

m1= 1/2 serve sculpt, small plum

m2= hand full of almonds

m3= peanut butter sandwich on lite bread

m4 = 1/2 185g tin tuna

m5 = plum

m6 = chicken drum, lettuce, spring onion

are there any dairy free protein shakes out there that aren't the crappy tasting pea stuff?

what does everyone else use as a wheat free bread substitute?

aye looks good flamer. i been wondering the same thing bec, how do you survive on so little? most people should eat 1800-2000cal divided across 5 or 6 meals. youll find you have so much more energy.

yeah, i forget to eat sometimes cause i don't get hungry much :doh: only when i start to feel tired i notice

Yep I used to get a soy one from health 2000 it's in a silver bag, it tasted just fine but I think it doesn't have as much protein in it as whey.....

I'm sure there's a few different varietys out there. I'd be interested in which one you get and what you think.

Corn thins are my 'bread substitute'. They are nothin like bread, but you can spread peanut butter, marmite, jam, cottage cheese.......whatever on them!

You say you have a slow metabolism - eating more will help speed this up. You just need to balance it. Days where you have low activity levels keep the cal intake lower - increase it on workout days.

Great news all around - a promotion, and training in the face of an inconsiderate gym - great work :notworthy:
