15kg leg curl is wayy to easy but he told me I can't have the leg curl higher than leg extension because it stuffs up your muscles. I can definately feel the burn in doing an extra 2 reps, maybe i should just sneak in a few more sets 8)

Yay, new protein powder arrived today :grin:

ON 100% Whey - strawberry banananana flavour, om nom nom

Workout:

Lateral Pulldown

12x30kg

10x30kg

10x25kg

10x20kg

Low Row

12x20kg

2x10x20kg

Bench Press

12x20kg

2x10x20kg

doing those extra 2 reps really does make a difference, ouchy

Cardio:

5000m rowing in 24mins and 47seconds!! thought it would take me way longer than this. I'm gonna try beat my time each time I do this

Food:

m1: soy protein shake, coffee, raisins

m2: 85g tuna, piece of gf bread

m3: pre workout orange

m4: post workout soy protein shake, coffee

m5: chicken, mushrooms, onion, salad, piece of gf bread with hummus

m6: soy protein shake (yay only a few more serves to go)

along with the rest of my suppliment whoring, my strawb/banana whey arrived today, smells good! wont try it till im done my choccy tho.

i hope for both our sakes it tastes as good as it smells :shifty:

i actually just had a little taste of the powder by itself, really yum haha

My back muscles are soooo sore from back and rowing yesterday, could hardly carry round my books. Speaking of school... we had a lockdown today cause some stupid person decided to pretend to have a gun :shifty: had to stay for an extra half hour, grrrr!!

Workout:

Inner Thigh

3x12x15kg each leg

Outer thigh

3x12x15kg each leg

Lateral Roll

2 mins on the swiss ball, basically you lie on the swiss ball at your chest and roll from side to side as far as you go using your abdominals to try and not tip over

Pelvic Tilt and Lift (crunches)

3x10xbw

Cardio

30mins on bike, 300 cals

Food:

m1: soy protein shake, fruit juice, coffee

m2: 85g tuna, piece of gf bread

m3: gf date scone (cheat meal, thought i deserved it :lol:)

m4: post workout soy protein shake with dextrose

m5: chicken, veges

m6: protein shake

Went to Luigi's gym today and managed to stuff up the lower left hand side of my back trying to do dead lifts in the first 10 or so minutes, got home and checked out my back in the mirror and it's dark purple and has a massive lump :-s ummmmmmmmmmm

Ow, that doesn't sound nice (Luigi or no Luigi!). But if you managed to grind out the pulldowns and cardio, it hopefully won't be too serious?

yea if you could do 24 minutes on a rowing machine after it it cant be that bad really, just rest up :)

:? wot a load of crap!!. the leg extentions are not a natural movement and shud by far be lighter that ur leg curls. reguardless u shud be working everymuscle to its best, i definatily bump up ur weights if u feel u can do more. :nod:

In my cook book! :P

Instead of using flour I used cornflour, instead of milk I used soy milk and instead of butter I used dairy free margarine. yummo! :twisted:

stupid new bikes have max heart rate monitors on them and you enter your weight and age and it started beeping really loud if my heart rate went over 182bpm, grrr!

m2: piece of gf bread, 85g tuna

m3: cookie time (soo should not have had this :doh: )

m4: post workout soy protein shake with dextrose

m5: 1 slice bacon, 1 egg, salad, kumura chips

Butt, abs and thighs class on saturday morning if my back is better!

Yup, I have a bad habit of knocking my knees together when I do squats, deadlifts and leg press so he makes me put a ball between my knees!

The weight issue is sorted, I just forced myself up on the leg extension so I could do a satisfactory weight on the leg curl.

Thanks! It took me a gruelling 4 weeks to finish it!!

What natural product is good for rheumatoid arthritis?

My dad has this type of arthritis and his legs always hurt really bad. He is only 54 years old and he can barely walk around. What are some things that he can try to ease the pain so that he can get around better. He is still kind of young.
