It's more "You might be a bodybuilder if..." you know how much cardio is required to burn off a pint of wheat beer or a red wine :grin:

At least the sound of burpies would be better than what happened to a colleague - who had two drunk gays banging the night away, with sound effects, right next door. :shock:

Seated SM press 7x4

[warm-up 20x 15, 15x 20kg] 40kg, 6x 45kg

CG SM Press 7x4

40kg 40 45 45 50 50 55 55kg and 1x 4x 60kg PB but ow burnies!

BB Hang Clean-Press 6x6

30 30 30 35 35 35kg

BB Bentover Row 6x6

40 50 60 70 80 90kg

Legs were left alone today...they'd been giving me some grief, so I let them have the day off.

Sunday 29 march

Stifflegs 7x4

DB Bench Press 7x4

25kg e/s, 28, 30, 33, 33, 38, 40kg e/s Happy with those. Thought about sticking with the 38s, but then I remembered that Biggurl was starting to catch me up! :shock: :grin:

Upright Row 7x4

40kg 50 50 55 55 60 60kg

Bentover DB Reverse Flies

10kg e/s 12 12 15 15 17 17kg e/s. Wasn't sure of weights initially but by the time I got to the fifteens, I found the sticking point! 1s holds at full squeeze with the seventeens set a nice fire on my back :nod: :shock:

That was what I thought, 'til I saw your "What can you lift" posts... I am going to have to keep on pushing hard. Still, if I can convert that into 4x 80kg bb bench, that'd be an all-time PB, and keep me on track for my goals for six months from now.

Pecs are NOT HAPPY today tho :grin:

Thanks M65... as for the stats, haven't asked, don't want to ask.....

I'm convinced I'm slowly picking up lean muscle mass, but gross weight isn't really moving. I think I can see some definition, but it ain't at the site of the four-point skinfolds!

I'm sure at some point I'll be subjected to the evil calipers-of-doom but wtf....one day soon I'll get the green light to feed the cardio back in, and that, along with the diet and training, will knock some bf off.

I set myself some goals for October timeframe for squats, deads and bench - and right now I'm ahead of the curve :D

Thats all good then and with the on again off again plane regime that you are leading at the moment its even better that you can still be ahead of the curve.

I am sure once the cardio light comes back on things will start shifting from the 4 points of doom..... :twisted: :twisted:

50kg 50 70 70 75 75 75 - and cos it was done to the high standards expected by the PT, we'll call that a PB...

Warmed up with 15min on a bike, only 110 miserable calories... but I got the green light to feed the real cardio back in \:D/ :dancing:

I must be a sick puppy - now that I can feed the cardio back in to my training plan, I can't wait! Got a pump class tomorrow, that'll bowl 800 cals no worries (was going to say "No Sweat" but actually it'll be 'buckets of sweat' :oops: :roll: :D )

Yay the cardio!! So it's just a little bit at a time? A pump class is pretty full on! The pump classes in Auckland at Les Mills all the girls wear full face make-up and don't sweat :shock: AND they lift like 10 times more than me :(

So is this cutting or just adding it back in?

Far too soon for cutting, this is still adding back in some previously-verboten cardio for fatburning - but maybe by May I'll have an actual plan that might say "start cutting here" !!

These are really wicked classes - done right, they'll bring a guy to his knees, especially if he comes over all macho and loads up the bar, thinking "I can squat a hundy, how hard can it be?"...therein lies much pain.

There'll be some of these classes - they're Power classes by Radical Fitness - and there'll be some Fight-Do (box/tae-bo) and some Spin, probably some pre-breakfast spin on the windtrainer at home.

O.M.G....did the Power class, loved it but got completely hammered into the ground! :oops: :pale:

Still, if my cardio fitness sucks at the moment, there's only one direction it can go, now I's got the cardio back in the training plan :D
