...and there was cake, and it was good.

Don't ask me how I know, but the carrotcake at Joe's Garage is nice, huuuuuuuge serving, and only one fork!

No training today... damn life got in the way again. At least, that's what I call it when I leave the office ten hours after I walked in. There's always tmw - might aim for a double-happy session of weights and cardio, depending on who's doing the 5:30 spin class. Or, I could do the lame-oh cardio-funk... cool0010.gif

It's Maria - I'm going, as can't make Ashley's Thursday class. Bit scared - haven't done a Maria class in over a year, mainly because I'm scared of her

Glad to hear you had a great Birfdee Mister!

Legs AND spin in the same day! Mind you I read on gofigure web site that it is a good idea to do legs and then cardio on the same day as your legs are slightly numb from the weight training it doesn't really matter! Hard core! :pfft:

It's an interesting one - I haven't tried it before, so it might be a really bad idea! Normally my preference would be to do legs early in the week and spin later, after a recovery time or vice versa. But I am thinking that doing on the same day with a 3 hour or so recovery time in between might work. We'll see!

I think the most crazy thing I've done was to cycle to the gym, train legs, then do spin, then cycle home (did I mention I live at the top of a big hill?)... and I DEF didn't want the embarrassment of being stuck in the clips when I ran out of horsepower...

Tuesday 20 Oct

Spin for the Win.

With Maria, I think she dug out an old "Spin Challenge" formula for tonight, it was a serious, seriously-fun, workout, with a couple of nine-minute climbs.

For the hour, including cool-down - over 850 cals! Really full class too... got to be good. And well done to CC, for grinding out the whole class AFTER that massive lunchtime leg workout - major kudos to her for that :notworthy:
