yea, im contemplating doing quads am hams together, plus u get the pre fatigue if doing a2g squats 8). wonder how much having recovering hams affect your squat? probably a bit...

yea a little, but 3 days should be enough recovery id have thought! will see how it pans out.

todays eats -

m1 1.5 cups oats, banana, yogurt,lsa,myofusion

m2 1.5cups rice, 200g steak satay

m3 1.5cups rice, 185g tuna

m4 1.5 cups rice, 200g steak satay

train, then double shot myofusion+glucose

m5 6 jumbo eggs on 4 pieces grain bread

m6 200g steak satay, 2 cups veges

later m7 milk+myofusion

this will be the sorta levels im aiming at daily, see what happens. if weight doesnt move up, il eat more :nod:

i forgot to write this before, but consider it relevant so will. i actually took my shoes off and squatted bareback today - but 2 work sets in, i put them back on to go get a drink. it wasnt till i finished squatting that i realised id left them on. reps had gone 5,5,4,4. may have been coincidence, maybe not. im gonna suss out vidding my skinny ass squatting so you cunts can tell me where i can improve...

I have to force it down some days especially post workout in the evening and after legs. The para-sympathetic nervous system squawks in protest :lol: but it has to be done :twisted:

today was a light one, for tits and pieceps. wanted to bench, but every bench was taken - odd for mid-afternoon! so just did warmups then 4 sets 8-10reps db bench, then 4 worksets hammer press declines, wanted to finish with pecdec but both were in use. blah. oh well 3 warmup sets and 8 worksets, 4 seated bbell press and 4 seated ezibar preachers, all 10-12 reps. that is all. eats up later. mean as core domms too.

treadys my staple bro. bike drives me nuts. plus the treadys have the best fluff views..

skipped cardio today due to crap sleep/no energy. couldve, but chose not to. still have core doms and stiff hams from mon, sore chest from yesterday - i had a bit of an epiffany today while driving to work... i should NOT be this sore from this volume with these calories. progression is slow as f*ck. i then realised - ive been here before - those that have followed this journal from the start know i was in this situation, and had bloods done. low test. thread about it here. same symptoms, i cant beleive i didnt realise this sooner, too much other shit on my mind maybe. anywhoo, must get this sorted ASAP..

low test= weights are even more poo than usual... not worth posting..

today hammys/erectors

RDL

2 sets warmup,stretches

4 sets 8-10reps strength DOWN

goodmornings

5 sets 10reps

weighted back ext

4 sets 8-10 reps, last set superseeted with b.w extensions.

deads were poo today, have a slight pull in right hammy, but didnt effect things. goodmornings were 10k up on last week, getting more familiar with them - probly still ugly but focussing on trying to get the eccentric firing right, using the hammys/glutes to initiate the movement. left with mean as back pump. should be sore tommorow. i was gonna post up a detailed 'split' question, but think il put it in a thread....

So have you had it tested again so you know its actually low test .... or are you feeling sorry for yourself and just need a couple of double whoppers and a good shit? :)

There are a lot of other concerns that can cause fatigue. I had a tough time about 2 years ago with "lactic acidosis" - I had done a three day full body blitz which included some pretty savage core workouts and high intens cardio. End result I was fucken ill. Doc and I came up with the diagnosis together - treatment rest / fluid and a double beroca dose each day for a couple of weeks but took a while longer to come right.

Here's a wiki link - has some good info and could be something to consider. (only mentioning as you have had the flu recently and resistance training can over fatigue easy).

interesting points mate - i had a read of that link. im taking animal pak at the mo, so i shouldnt be deficient in anything, diet is fairly varied, probly only lacking a bit in antioxidants.. il try a deload week, and see how i feel after that before taking further action..

today, like the last 2 days, have hammy doms. so thought it'd be a good time to do some front squats. its ben months, i cant even remember how long since last attempt. but theyre piss weak. Good thing is depth tho, getting way lower than parralel, almost a2g, even on the later sets. in retrospect, shouldve left out the hacks/legpress and done some volume with fronts, but was still productive sesh nonetheless.

warmup - 5 mins 'prehab' stretching for bung hip

fronts

30x15

40x10

50x10

50x8

60x5

65x3

70x2(2nd rep ugly)

legpress

4 sets, last set 160x4, depth=hitting stoppers.

hack squat 3 sets 8-10reps, full depth

the leg press is something else i havent touched for ages, esp not the one i used today. its a 45degree sled, as opposed to the other presses which 'swivel'. theyre odd, they make the word 'ergonomic' pop into my head when i look at them..

tommorow will do some upper body shit. works thrown a spanner in, as i got told im working on waiheke tommorow, sux arse. but its (hopefully) a 1off.

yea they are fagtastic!

i also forgot to mention i did the fronts as a hori c*nt, ie no shoes. feels better, im gonna do all squats/deads barefoot haha!

im sick of people trying to pick their teeth with my legs, so squatting is where its at!
