How are you finding this? I just fielded a question on facebook. I am a believer of course in keeping the tension on. I know others are a bit skeptical. Powerlifters in particular think you need to lockout. My answer to this is that "yes you do when you bench press in a competition".

I thought not locking out was all for ~*da pump*~

It might be if you are shoulder pressing 40 kg champ?

"The weight is just a tool, bro, to get you looking jacked!"

"Who cares how strong you are, just get a pump!"

"It's not how much you can lift, but what you look like."

351 sets

press

40x10,5 sets

curls

5 sets 10

been feeling flat lately, think i may have retricted my eats too much during the day. i have been eating:

M1 - WPI in trim milk, 30g almonds

M2 - chicken breast, a little light mayo, spinach

M3 - WPI in water, 30g almonds

M4 - same as M2

--- training, aminos.----

after training eat whatever, ususally something carby

anyway, thought id weigh some of what ive been eating/see how many cals im having between wakeup and training. i thought a chicken breast would weigh around 200, but theyre only 100-120!

M1- P70 C24 F17

M2- P30 C2 F7

M3- P50 C4 F16

M4- P30 C2 F7

--total P180 C32 F47 --- cals 1136 from 6am till 4.30

so gonna look at upping my chicken intake, using less almonds and gitting some PB. also may just have 2 decent size meals, get some glucose for PWO as its better than eating shit for sugar lol. might help with energy levels..

  • 1 month later...

starting carbnite protocols as of tommorow, will track everyting in here related. have taken body measurements, photos etc and am looking to drop at least 10kg.

carbnite is basically just a rehash of CKD (ketosis):

max 30g carbs per day

10days carbless to start off

refeed for a half day on sundays

fairly organised with diet, alot of fat to lose so should get results fairly quick.

today:

reversegrip bench

4 sets 8-10

skulls to back of head

4sets 8-12

overhead extensions

4sets 10

incline db curls

4sets 8-10

rev. curls

4sets 8-10

Ditto. Will follow with interest

sweet bro, you read the book or just following the general guide?

todays eats:

500g sausages

sugarfree V

3 lamb chops

low carb homemade pudding

total carbs - 28

carbs higher than necessary due to using some cheap sausages today. tommorows sausages are much lower carb, less than half 8)

made pudding using:

375 pottle of green cyclops yogurt

400ml whipped cream

1 sachet weightwatchers jelly

smash it all together, 4 servings of 8 grams carbs 8)
