Back - my fave

today was tired (again) :evil: but pushed hard, am pleased. as per below, tried to do the v-bar pullups with 10k on, only got 4 and a partial :oops:

also tried deads again, they felt stable on my dodge lower back. before i stopped doing deads my best was 85kx6 or 8 reps, i neva thought i would be able to do more. al deads were clean form, and done at the end of the workout, so i definitley have been holding back mentally methinks...

warmups - stretching lats, light w/g pulldowns

v-bar pullups b.wx10,bw+10kilox4.5 :oops: bw+5kx6,x5F

w/g pulldowns 60x8F,x8F,54x10F,x10F

w/g cable rows 60x10F,x8F,54x9F.RP,x8F

db rows 3 sets each arm, no resting betwen, 30k db. reps 10-6

deads 40x10,60x10,80x6,100x4,120x1 \:D/ booyah!

done. still waiting for fucken medlab, its been a fortnight FFS!

got a tatt sesh booked tommorow 10am till 5 pm, so am planning on getting up at 5.30 so that i can get my shouldr w/out in, tho not expecting much cos the few times i have trained in the am have always felt weaker. will try eat lots tonight...

shoulders/cardio

w/up- stretches, seatd db press 10x10,15.5x10

seated db press 25x9F,x7F,x7F,x6

one arm cable side raise 3 sets each arm, only 10sec rest between

bentover db raise 4 sets,6k dbs 12-14 reps

shrugs 60x10,100x8,x6F,then 3 sets at 60k, restpaused..

cardio 20mins tready@8kph..

roll on bis/tris tommorow

well only got 3.5 hours done on my back, but was an awesome sesh, covered heaps. dont have pic cos no flatmates are home to snap lol..

didnt do much tris today, i normally start off with 4 work sets of c/g bench, then do the isolation stuff to finish - but my back is way too fucken sore from the tatt sesh to have my back up against it! and next week will be the same cos i booked a sesh for next friday aswell 8)

warmups - none :oops:

alt arm curls 10kx10,

conc. curls 14x5, 16.5x6,x5F,14.5x7F

ezibar curl7.5kaside x8F,x8F,x7F

tried to superset the conc curls/ezibars, but didnt because the conc curls meant one arm had less rest then the other, so kept it at 30 sec rest between sets.. anyways

alt hammer curls 12.5x8,x8,x7RP

cable curls 1 dropset

tri pushdowns 4 sets, 12-14 reps with static holds

rope p/downs 4 sets 8-12 reps with partials

cardio 20mins tready @8kph

as you can see, did bugger all tris, but kept rest times right down, and at the end of every set had that nice throbbing pain that comes on as soon as you release the weight, hurts so good.

roll on rest day, then round the roundabout again.....................

I might post up some pics if i do the NZBB challenge 2009... assuming it happens..

but i havent been to the gym for like.... almost 2 months now :shock:

so it's not pretty. i'm over 20% BF... but i'm working on i... and it's not like i have a cool tattoo to show off...

thats thegolden question, and the answer? i dont know tbh. heres what i do know..

*ive been gaining at about 500g a week, a good rate.

*my back,chest and legs are all bigger(muscle) than they were.

* my gut is smaller than it was at 76kg 9 months ago

* my strength has progressed good when injuries havent hampered it.

*i have always found it easy to lose weight, so am confident my first cut will be as successful as my first (this) bulk.

just so you know, my goal for this bulk is to build a base to bulk from, and in that respect im on the money!

today was a shit day..

way tired, had a shocking sleep - shouldve skipped the gym, but did a half arsed attempt. feelin the twinge in my lower back again, hoping it just agrevated a little and not alot. back tatt is healing but at the annoying stage, so hoping its not so annoying for tommorow (chest).

also rang medlabs today, as to where my results are - "you have to collect them in person with photo id from auckland hospital". wtf? wankers

walking lunges 18kdb's 18step,15step, 16st,14st

lying hammies 4 sets 7-11reps

leg ext 3 sets 8-12 reps

mabye they found something in your bloods and there is going to be a party waiting for you. or maybe you just pissed off someone.... is this normal(picking up from auckland hospital)???

na wont be anything in the bloods, and i paid good money so they shouldnt have an issue!

na, to my knowledge they would send it out with the rest normally, but because i opted for shbg it needed to be sent away. i just assumed that they would send the results by mail, or if they needed to be picked up they coulda told me! if i hadnt have rung, id have never got my results. will pick them up friday methinks...

have you tried anything else apart from superpump?

and are you getting more (SP)?

ive tried isamorph, didnt effect me at all. tried nutrex ignite, thats ok as a wake-up, but nothing ive tried compares to sp in terms of mental focus. Im currently on plasmajet - insane pump, but i think id benefit more from the 'kick' of sp, so will be buying again methinks..
