Back when I did sumo deads I would use quite a close grip to avoid that thigh catching problem you are talking about. I'm sure there's a far more technical way to alleviate the problem but I thought I'd start the ball rolling.

exausting. big ups to nate for letting me take his dler for a fang. i think my fat ass would need a bigger size lol. it took a huge amount of energy just getting to the bar, and the suit tended to decide my line for me lol. Fun, but taxing. have seam marks around my thighs :pfft: Its quite a feeling when those straps lock down! 8)

ME bench

today was my first fuckaround sesh with the shirt. Its 'loose' - with it fully on i can twist the sleeves/seams without difficulty. as Steak says, it takes time to learn the gear. still happy to get a touch and press with 20kg more than my current max on the first sesh, with no liftoff. Heres my thoughts after first sesh.

* as i already know, tris are pissweak. priority atm.

* need to have bigger arms to fill sleeves, will add bi work.

* shirt is good training fit, get on in 2 mins, off in 1 - solo.

* hardest parts are liftoff, and trying to pin shoulders against shirt.

regret not starting vid sooner, but still got 2 big fails :lol:

put some heavy rows in on your assist day mate...I found real benefit from these using a DB incline supported row...sort of mimics the press but upside down if you catch my driftz :wink:

early days and you;ll grow the arms to get it lock in on the tris bro...time under the bar

did my first squats in over a month today, low vol, but pleased as knee gave me no grief. will start slowly reintroducing squats, with ideally leading into sum boris. Took some vid today, form was messy in the end, but not too bad considering i havent squatted for so long. As per vid, some nice pauses too.
