Can I also start referring to lifts as "good money"? or is that strictly a PL phrase? :pfft:

good money can be used in all aspects of life - whether your at work, at the gas station, rooting you missus - just throw it in there.

lol that post = good money.

trained at fat maxes gym the other day, the same gym that the rench champs were in. In training terms my diet and fluid has been fucken terrible, but i havent had an actual holiday in about 5 years, so im not losing sleep over it. also have no training gear at all. So i just went in and did some squats, legpress, seated rows, and then i had a crack at one of the shiny nautilus machines, the bicep curler...

I started off with no weight, feeling the mind-muscle connection between me and my guns, focussing on holding the contraction at the top, and accentuating the negative. Then i started adding some weight, keeping to 10 reps. you can do them simultaneously, but you get a better mind-muscle connection one arm at a time.

once it started getting hard, i turned my hat backwards to give me some extra power. Also i rolled up my gymshirt so i could watch the muscle working. this added about 2kg to my lift.

By now i had the pump, and between sets i was flexing in the mirror to keep the muscles engorged - but you must always remember to turn your hat back to the front between sets, or you will build up a tolerance to it and lose that extra benefit. More training tips to come.
