Cool that you joined Netfit, it's awesome. I can practice my strongman training there. I'm thinking about selling off my membership to Les Mills too... but I still like the gay Step Classes \:D/

yeap, just lost my gpp virginity, much enjoyed it!

met up with agentorange today and had a fiddle with the sleds,tyres and farmers walks. still have l.back doms, but it didnt effect me at all. i just got plain owned :lol:

alternated sleds - length+back,tyre length+back, and farmers walks length and back. my poo grip was almost giving out, last walk i did was only 60k aside, fingers were not holding up :oops: . tyre flips were cool, may attempt one of the heavier ones next time. though one of the flips i was a little too eager, and it rebounded up and copped me in the mouth as i bent down :lol:

sleds were light, can def go heavier. but was a good hit out. also had a brief fiddle with the g.h.r, couldnt even do 1 clean rep - but i expected that.. will maybe use a broomhandle next time...

after some interesting posts recently of links about wsb and the conjugated method, i decided to look into it further, including the wsfsb programme. sounds pretty trick, so much so i was up till bout 1am lol....food for thought.

You know I'm actually wanting to start putting on something like a form/technique clinic for squatting. Problem is I just gotta get peeps to show up to it, and I don't have my name out there enough to really draw a crowd for it.

Otherwise, whenever's good for you. A training day would probably be best, but it doesn't matter all that much.

Coast Barbell may be interested in something like that Matt...I'll put the feelers out and see what sort of response I get. PM me an idea of costs for a session up our way. Ive got a few of the boys reading "Bodybuilding has lied to you" and Maximise Muscle has started doing the rounds too...I find it a useful resource for some of our programming ideas too.

Shoot that sounds good to me. I've got quite a few ideas in mind, from teaching technique on the different "kinds" of squatting, and the big thing is going to be dynamic warmups and mobility work to break people in so they can actually do the things.

I like to think I can get any un-injured person squatting with solid form inside an hour or two of instruction; the big thing is that most folks don't even realize they've got issues in the first place. It'll be interesting to see if there's actually interest outside our group of lifters.

rest day, l.back still a little off 100%, but not too bad. just got back from jb hifi, bought me a handycam so i can do some decent videoing for this here journal. plus if i get made redundant i can go into the amateur porn bizz...

parralel box squats

3 sets 5 reps, getting the feel for it, used gyms bands

legpress

3 sets 10-15 reps, light as.

man im starting to loathe squatting. these bitch weights always feeling heavy, and my lower back is feeling beat. must get through the loathesome easter period and get pman to sort my squats!
