today = fail

i knew as soon as i woke up today was a write off. i had a sore lower back, yet yeterday it was ok, a little tight from deads but ok. and i woke up and it was sore as, not the good sore either... tried to stretch it out a few times today, but didnt really seem to help. and then of course theres my hips. i thought id be sweet, i did some gentle stretches, and the went to do some light squats for warmup. as soon as i dropped down, pain. 30k squat, and i couldnt do it. it feels like a cross between cramp and doms at the front/top of my leg, where thigh meets hip. so i stopped, did a few minutes cycling to try and warm them up. then tried some fronts, but same pain...

ended up doing some training, after i was well warm it reduced from pain to discomfort, so i did do some shit, but not worth recording. i just pray that physio on saturday can figure it out - theres plenty of fags out there who dont train legs... i dont wanna be one of them! :evil:

f*ck...that sounds like a bad buzz bro :evil: ..I HATE that feeling when you know you cant go on. Even worse when you do though and totally ruin something. Keep the eats up though...ya mouth still works!

you should come right bro, probably just needs time. Yesterday I seen this guy, he a had quite an impressive upper body. The second time I looked at him i noticed his chicken legs an it totally changed my perception of him.I mean his arms were the same size as hislegs lol. Looked like a bitch :pfft:

Pretty much all the guys at the gym I go to are like that :shock: It's a sad sorry state of affairs! I don't know how they get through life without their legs snapping :snooty:

Mind you, it means the rack is always free for me! Woot! :pfft:

its fucken depressing to be honest. i didnt feel like i deserved my postworkout shake, even though i was wet with sweat from my pisspoor train. il put some deepheat on the hips tonight, hope it will feel better in the morning :pray: :pray:

its not helping the short fuse either, i tell you that! :evil: :evil:

at least tommorows train wont be affected..

try to stay positive and focus on doing what you can to make sure you are back to full training asap.

remember - its not worth rushing it and ending up worse off.

thanks bro, yea that was todays dilemma. it fucks me off, cos i havent had a bad train since i can remember! i had to try to do some sets without aggrevating it, or making it worse. i hope i havent. i absolutely cant wait for physio!!

im gonna go along to the strongman comp tommorow, ive never been to any comp, should be some crazy lifts, and great form to see. its in northcote, il miss the start due to physio, but i should see a few hors i think. itl be cool! anyone else goin?

legs are not any worse, bout the same as before yesterday. i deep heated the shit outa them last night, though was a bit intense when some rubbed off on my manbits! hell burn! but i had to get the whole area, was almost unavoidable.... :pfft:

ahhh good times :lol: iv done this a few times now f*ck it burns!! worst thing is if you try to put water on it to wash it off it just makes it worse :doh:

well, ive ascertained that the courier delivered my goods to the wrong house, and the person there accepted them! but bugger if i know who they delivered to, none of the neighbours ive asked have owned up. but at least if its not recovered, shotgun will replace it!

twigs (bis/tris)

went for a little more weighted volume on chins, and stronger on bbell curl too.

warmups - none

chins b.wx5

b.w+5kg x 5

b.w+10kg x 5,5,5,4.5 :oops:

seated bbell curl 5 sets, top set 40x5+2spotted PB

preacher bench db hammers (together) 4 sets 10-20 reps, last set dropset

c/g bench 4 sets 6-12 reps

db skulls 4 sets6-8reps

tri pushdowns 4 sets 10-20 reps

done, roll on physio, shoulders and strongman comp! a little behind on cals today, but will endeavour to compensate :grin:

recovered my awol cellmasses from a neigbour last night,realy looking foward to physio and the strongman comp, then straight from there to train delts, will be packing a few meals and drinking up water to see me through.

i fucken hate daylight savings. i get up at 2.45am for work now, so tommorow il be getting up at 1.45 :evil: . dont ever become bakers people, the hours suck!

will post up training later when i get back, i might even take a few pics at the comp!

man, the strongman comp was off the hook! seing a 360k deadlift, with no straps, amazing. The guy they call wookie is a serious unit man, he was so close on his record loglift attempt. all the novices were deading above 200k, was fucken awesome man! i was paying close attention to form, was quite interesting seing the different mechanics/body types used. very very good.

physio went well, my physio told me i definitly have more muscle in my lower back than i used to, which is cool, guess deads are slowly paying off! not sure how hips will be, wont know till i try em out next thursday. il be stretching them out daily..

training - delts/traps/core

tried 2 new exes today, i was pretty dehydrated but still was ok.

warmups - 3 sets hammer st. mil press

hamr mil. press 5 sets 20-30k aside

bnp 6 set ramp. (standing) new to these, only using 32.5k.

shrugs 4 sets

machine side raise 4 sets 10-15 reps

plank 20k plate, 1minute (fuken way harder than i remember!)

machine crunches 4 sets

woodchoppers 2 sets 15 reps aside

done, roll on rest day, and weigh in day!

note - my nipps have felt just a little bit sensitive last few days, just slighly. if theyre the same tommorow, il pop a quarter tab of both femera and bromo, for 5-7 days, should clear it up methinks...

rest day today, weigh in in a few hours.. woot!

nipples are definitley 'sensitive', so ive just taken a 1/2 pill of bromo, and a 1/4 tab of femera. will do the same till friday, maybe longer.

shoulder and core doms from yesterday, man i swear by woodchoppers! theyre totally the shit, when done properly!

oh yea, i fucken hate daylight savings. it always knocks the shit outa me for a week or so. f*ck daylight savings!!
