I found it very weird that after ages off at the gym I could crank out a pb. kind of reassuring. new plan starts this week, should be interesting :) Diet has been much much more standard/not excessive which is awesome for me. feeling the doms everywhere today.

Something for you :grin: and anyone else that needs a wee treat once in a blue moon..... and no there shouldn't be a blue moon every week SERIOUSLY! haha

5 MINUTE CHOCOLATE MUG CAKE

4 tablespoons flour

4 tablespoons sugar

2 tablespoons cocoa

1 egg

3 tablespoons milk

3 tablespoons oil

3 tablespoons chocolate chips (optional)

a small splash of vanilla extract

1 large coffee mug

Add dry ingredients to mug, and mix well. Add the egg and mix

thoroughly. Pour in the milk and oil and mix well. Add the chocolate chips (if

using) and vanilla extract, and mix again.

Put your mug in the microwave and cook for 3 minutes at 1000 watts

(high). The cake will rise over the top of the mug, but don't be alarmed!

Allow to cool a little, and tip out onto a plate if desired.

EAT! (this can serve 2 if you want to feel slightly more virtuous).

And why is this the most dangerous cake recipe in the world? Because now

we are all only 5 minutes away from chocolate cake at any time of the

day or night!

I have actually been a very good girl recently, even though I have had naughty food sometimes I have been so much more balanced, and despite my mega break my weights don't seem to have suffered. Still sick, although all my bloods came back today and dr finally has a clue so will get some drugsicles tomorrow. Meanwhile I am enjoying my day off done so much stuff even though I feel crappy. Now to write my CV......

Weights Mon:

Chest/Bi/Tri

DB Flat Press 3x10x12.5, 1x10x11

Incline DB Press 4x10x8

Incline flies 4x10x8

Curls 4x10x18.5

Skullcrushers 4x10x18.5

Missed my workout this morning due to feeling like SH*T so not sure when next one will be tomorrow or friday. Squats :)

BG and Ness are spot-on, Laura...even in those photos you can see clear improvements in muscle-tone, shape...and that's before you look at things like CV fitness, strength, and knowledge.

Don't beat yourself up - we'll do that for you, but only when it's really needed!

Instead, accept that right now you prob feel like crap 'cos your system is out of kilter. Plus, you had a crap end to the year - which you won't shrug off overnight. But, the Doc's on the case, the drugsicles are on their way, and once that happens just wait and see what you're capable of.
