Time for a new journal because hey its almost 2009 and my last one wasn't going anywhere good, I'm not terribly unhappy with my body but I can tell things are starting to slip.

Goals:

* Get to 60kgs without starving myself and maintaining my muscle mass.

* Stop binge eating

* Do some cardio

So how do I plan to do this? 5-6 small meals a day + 5 day weights, and 3 x weekly cardio.

Training Split:

M: Quads, cardio pm

T: Shoulders

W: Rest from weights, cardio pm

T: Chest

F: Tri/Bi, cardio pm

S: Back

S: Complete rest

Diet 1:

M1: Oats 1/2 scoop PP

M2: PS

M3: Chicken salad

M4: PS

M5: Fish/Chicken + vege

M6 (optional): PS

Diet 2:

M1: CC + 1/2 Oat pancake

M2: PS or M1

M3: Chicken salad

M4: PS

M5: Fish/Chicken + vege

M6 (optional): PS

Diet 3:

Nuts with every PS

Today did workout at les mills for a change was quite an experience!!

Did quads, got reverse lunges up to 40kg woot...

squats 4x10x60kg

lunges 4x10x40kg

deads 4x10x60kg

leggpress 4x10x?

and a few sets of shoulders but not a full w/o

diet was random

M1: PS

M2: random turkey salad

M3: salmon + cous cous+ banana ice cream

going on 4 day gym holiday \:D/

nicely done. if you find yourself rushed lyk that iv found that doing a warmup exercise, say 4 sets of shoulder presses done with your normal weights and reps, then supersetting or tri-setting the rest of your exercises together saves a whole lot of time. not as good as doing the whole workout but definitely better than doing nothing at all. And with supersets you keep your heart rate up longer so burn more bodyfat from the incresed metabolic rate. :D

Cheers everyone. Well seems I hve really overdone it haha, reading everyone elses journals seems like everyone stopped eating after Christmas, I ate all the way through till now? My tummy hurts haha.

Back to work means back to routine though, going hard because its my birthday in a month and I would quite like to get my life sorted out by then-ish.

So cranking back into weights and bring on the cardio and chicken.

lol I think my body is taking revenge on me for eating so bad... woke up this morning with a rash on the palms of my hands... wtf.. must have been all the cocktails I had last night :pfft:

gym this morning did legs/back combo as I did legs on sunday also.

Diet today should be good.. must get back on the wagon.

Yesterday was good except I had a dinner out and ate one of these jam dougnut cupcakes that I had baked for my gf

but apart from that was all hunky dory.

I think I have been on a mini bulk, or so I am hoping.. because I feel really weird.. I am definately heavier, but not a corresponding amount fatter. And I have been going hard at the gym, and I am definately musclier in places.

Even so not good because I didn't want any more muscle and now I definately have some. Gym today shoulers had a mean workout and going to do some cardio pm yay finally.

Diet has been really good so far.

Played squash so sweated off some major calories. Rest day tomorrow but I think I am gonna try some bikram yoga or something.. need some flexibility!!

If you are keen on Bikram Yoga I would recomend Bikram yoga North Shore! Although the prices have gone up since I last went they are so good. I loved it. I recomend the Sunday 10.00am class, afterwards I fell like I'm walking on clouds for the rest of the day!

Yeah I saw that one although there is 2 other places that are wayyyyyyyyy closer to me, Newmarket or Ponsonby. I might have to try them all :P
