Cheers mate!

Today was Chest and Biceps.

Chest was basically 5 working sets of flat bench press and steep incline dumbbell press. That was it. Steep incline meant I cud see my form and I notice I go down well well below parallel. First set can feel the stretch but by last set it's already loosened up so there's no stretch feeling even if I go ridiculously low.

Biceps similar with cable curls, preacher machine, hammer curls.

See the doc on Monday for a bloods form, got to see what the bottom of off-cycle looks like and then do it again later when I think I'm back to normal. Standin lady doc not my usual so explaining this will b comical!

Today was Shoulders and Triceps.

Started off average on first exercise thought I was in for a dead session, but stuck with it and turned out great!

First up was HS press and just stayed on 1pps. Really felt like I couldn't be bothered.

Second exercise similar but slight incline and pushing out and up. Did 5-6 sets on 1pps and delts pump up and I was getting into the workout nicely.

Next was side raise machine and went down to just 2 plates off the bottom of the stack. This was the only side raise I did, am preferring front and rear delts now rather than width for next 6 mths at least. Thickness over Width.

Then I did cable front raises, 5 sets, then rear delt incline raises, lastly bent over rear delt raises (1 set)

Triceps started on close-grip bench cos the Smith machine was taken. Just stayed on 60kg for 4 sets of 12 slow steady reps.

Cable pushdown with v-bar next with elbows out, then single arm kickbacks with cable locked at top so it's bit diff to kickbacks.

Then onto a rope pulldown and did differently to normal. Standing 2m away do them, then when that fails step in 1m and keep going, finally as many directly under the cable where it's easiest.

Excellent workout, fueled by usual meals plus I had an extra burger and chips and raspberry cream bun after my midday meal.

1MR is helping a lot too but I keep forgetting to drop the BCAAs b4 workout. I remember afterwards doh! So PWO was a shake and glucose and 6gms BCAAs.

Got my form for blood tests, getting LH, FSH, Test, SHBG, IGF, T3, T4, Free T3, Liver Enzymes, Oestradiol?, and 2 renal values. Think that was it. Oh and Mercury but doc not sure if they test...they do I hope so getting it done for all the fish I have inhaled these last 10yrs.

The wider I make them the bigger the Legs have to be for balance...

Plus I don't think I have cannonball delts so thought this would cure my affliction...u thinking something else mate?

Oh plus I thought it would go with the thick back I'm planning on building. Just at the visualization stage at the mo but it's coming along nicely haha \:D/

I was being a bit cheeky.. I just think always train for width and thickness will follow. Rather have barn door shoulders and that visual impact to kick things off.

Today I had off from work to get bloods done, train with Optimass, and go to an interview.

Had usual meal at 10am then downed a can of baked beans followed by a protein shake at 10:30, an hour before training.

We warmed up on Leg Extensions for 3-4 sets.

Squats were up and we did a total of 6 sets working our way up to 160kg for 2 sets. I got out 2 reps first time then 4 next attempt at 160. Opti did good sets all the way. I think our form was pretty much spot on, both of us do full ROM and I prolly need some minor tweaks in my back and were I place my feet if I want to go heavier.

Leg Press was next and we did 20-rep sets starting with 2pps and adding a plate each time up to 5pps. Opti does deep ROM and was working hard for his last 20 reps and so was I.

These two exercises were it! An hour had passed and we had only done 2 exercises LOL not bad for a couple of natty bodybuilders.

Anyway, Legs swoled up and I blame Opti if I've lost that Aesthetic look now!

or 200 rep sets with 1pps on the leg press. he didn't build them legs in the squat rack, HarryB! :pfft: :pfft:

we mustn't joke about leg training... mine are woeful... BUT in my defence I make up for it by

wearing boardies!

lol... force yourself to wear some short shorts Harry! then you'll have to train them harder or be laughed at.

I've seen your legs workout though, 6pps for good reps on the hack squat... if it's like the hack we've got at LM then that's some good weight! on some hacks tho 6pps is nothing special

Squats, squats and more squats. Thanks for the train bro ... has been a while since I have been on a leg press and done that many reps on a compound - nice even doms this morning.

Nothing wrong with your technique - could add a bit more weight no worries with a slightly wider stance but really good depth. Don't be afraid to work in a couple of double/single rep sets at the end of your normal rep sets. An increase in overall strength will benefit your rep count at lower weights - will also give you more stability as you pop out of the hole.

Im back on heavy squats next week if your keen to have a go @ 200+ .... get you up to the coast in the weekend maybe.

Looking forward to Friday - chest has had a full deload so starting another phase this week - is going to be painful :nod:

You opened my eyes a bit with that advice on hitting heavy weight for a rep or two but not to failure. I always go to failure for bodybuilding, be good to try that advice with my Squats mate, cheers.

Of course if they shrink or don't grow I'm gonna be mad :wink:

Quick update, today is REST day.

Test results came in and the Doc rang me straight away :nod:

Testosterone is 2.2!

So,

It's either on the way down, or it's on the way up :pray:

The next test in 3 weeks will know for sure but happy I got the test done and hit the low number with Test.

It's exactly 3 and 1/2 weeks since last Tren-A pin (0.6ml) and x2 40mg Winny tabs.

I have her posting the complete results out to me so that I can see if the body is working at making more Test or whether it's "resting up/ given up". LOL

I can only assume all other values like Liver, T3, Mercury etc were in the normal range else she would have told me over the phone.

Haha i just have to stand next to Opti and I look small, being weaker isn't a problem but loading and unloading plates between sets is!

Got my results and Mercury, IGF, and Free Test results still to be completed, seems they go elsewhere.

LH and FSH are both in low range, Oestradiol <50pmol/L.

T3 and T4 are bang in the middle of range.

Creatinine is just on high side with 109umol/L, thus eGFR is low, common for muscular guys and African Americans lol.

ALT value high, GGT value good, comment to doc says could be from non-alcohol substances or drug therapy. All protein values are in mid-range.

SHBG cudnt b provided with Test below 7
