BIGMD's Pro Debut, Texas August 09

Nice drapes ... so you had to sell the house to buy the car and the ticket to Texas then .....

Looking good MD - lower back is looking pretty thick - not many guys can build it there. Holding your left shoulder higher in pose - is giving you better seperation on the left, making your right look shorter and thicker.

Pretty well balanced over all though - whats your tanning strategy? Do the pros use dream tan? I heard that some shows it was banned???

I might have been a bit critical in some of my posts on this thread & I'm not one to give praise unless really justified as those that know me will vouch :D However, Mike trains at my gym & we have known each other for some time. His current form & condition is probably the best I have seen him at & I believe he has got a real show of placing in the top 10 at the Europa. The pics on this thread dont really do him justice, so I urge those members in Ak to go along & give him your support when he guest poses at the Auckland Champs on 20 June. Good job Mike & hang in there for a few more weeks Bro.

From what I have seen of the progress photos of Mike on Facebook and hear on this site as well. I would pick Mike to finsh in the top ten at Europa as well. I would also urge members of this site who live in the Auckland are to going along to support Mike D gusest posing at the Auckland champs next Saturday. You are doing a great job Mike not long to go and you will be the first ever Kiwi to compete in Texas and Florida

  • 2 weeks later...

that back shot in the gym looks mean, nice squared out lats like art artwood and if you can get those lines and seperations coming out a bit more come show time you should score well. the lower backs getting those strations showing through like thick cables.

Was there much time difference between your at-home Front Double Bicep, and the on-stage one? You look a lot sharper on stage. Which is the idea, of course, but I'm just wondering if that's all due to lighting and tan, or if there are other factors too?

The shots in the gym and the front and rear bi shots were taken 15min apart at about 7am on sat, stage shots about 6.30pm

My compulsory front and rear bi i never try and find good light, i want dave Palumbo to see me in as average conditions as possible, when im at home i always do my shot sat morning between 7 and 8am with light always the same. its not the best light in my house but its consistant.
