Hi Big Mike D, looking sharp. Are you worried that you might be sharpening up perhaps too early?

To my eyes (admitedly fairly novice) you look maybe 6-8 weeks out already(sharp deatil already noticable even without colour). Do you and Dave P plan on getting in shape earlier and holding a condition or are you planning on really tearing it up and continuing to lose fat at the same rate?

Note: Not a criticism, just interested to know how you and Big Dave are planning your attack?

Hey Matrix, yes i am coming in pretty well, but at the level i will be up against i have to be in the shape of my life, we are aiming to loose another 4kg to 5kg. you have to look at the worst area of the body and base your prep on that. for me its no good looking at my arms or chest or quads as they come in easily, i need to look at my lower abs back an ham/glut tie ins and when they are in, then im ready. if you look at someone like Shawn Ray he use to stay 10 to 15lb of competion condition thats about where i am now.

The feed back i have had back from Dave has been great

Good to reference Shawn as well as he never really competes "off" in well over a decade in the pro's. Amazing professional, one of the toughest mentally of any of the pro's with his ability to make the sacrifices year after year to come in shredded.

definaetly see the difference in each pic big guy, lower back is sharper now i think, bet you've got the xmas tree look going on now?

looking good debenator, lower backs starting to show better detail and the glutes are losing that covering. I recon your on track for some cut glutes this time around, i think thats a good standard level of conditioning for a pro level show. some of the other nz pro's should take note.good luck and keep up the good work.
