Yeah pretty hungry all the time aye GA. I swapped from one extreme to the other, no middle ground for me lol. Although having an emptier belly has allowed me to smash my cardio better. I was two seconds off my gyms record on the 1km row sprint on my first attempt in 3 months. Should easily smash it next week!

Im off to the beautiful Whitsunday Islands in North Queensland. My best mate and his new wife have just bought a place up there so me and a few of the boys are gonna go have a look. Boys trip!!!!

Had another crack at the 60% BW max rep on bench challenge. Again the lactic acid buildup was horrible, wasnt carbed up and probably had to much water in me to do any good. Only managed 36 which is 5 less than last time, but Im still in the lead (got until end of month).

I had a crack at the rower record and pumped out a 3.14 for the 1km sprint. That beat the previous Gym record by 3 seconds but I managed an unofficial 3.09 last year so Ive still got a bit of improvement. Interestingly 3.14 is the split time for the womens world record 2km sprint. Yes I wikipedia'd it

Ab work was good, by the end of it my abs were so numb I couldnt even feel them being worked out, which Im not sure is good or bad

Weight was down to 103.6kg, 5kg down from 3 weeks ago. Ab definition is considerably better but its mainly the lack of puffyness around the jawline Im enjoying. That would be due to the lack of water retention after finishing my creatine cycle Id say.

I have gone down 1 hole on my weight belt, but that wasn't hard (that's what she said :pfft: )

Although strength is down, I feel its a pretty good trade off for much higher levels of fitness

Attempted the leg press challenge (most reps at bodyweight). Was only to parallel, not legs into chest. Didnt carb up at all today, and felt like shit really, hence the shit effort at squats. Pumped out 112 reps, probably had another 30 -40 in me as I was allowed a rest pause, but I couldn't see myself getting up to 400 so I didnt bother continuing :(

Learnt my lesson! Always carb up before leg train :banging:

Anyways, diet has been pretty strict, and coupled with the cardio Ive made pretty impressive quick body transformation. Ive started to wonder if maybe I could keep going and be in shape for the NABBA waikato show or maybe the Auckland NZFBB champs

Im not 100% sure its related to my cut, but since Ive been severely restricting my carbs and dropped calorie intake my more than 50% my brain seems to have been working a little ermmmm different. Its not as on the ball it seems. Its somewhat embarrassing to admit but I have had a couple of minor anxiety attacks while driving in the last week. It was like my foot got heavy, the road appeared to close in on me, my heart rate rose suddenly and I was out of breath. Then a few seconds later it was over. Nothing major but concerning none the less. Hopefully just a temporary thing, but has anyone had anything similar while cutting???

Hmm, maybe a bad reaction to a supplement? I guess it could be something to do with, the shock to your system, from the dramatic change in diet. Consider taking some saintjohns wart, it's great for mild anxiety. You can get it at the supermarket. Milks also good for anxiety.

:ditto: On St John's wort.. could've been placebo? But they helped me  Only about $13 from the supermarket.

 Thats some scary stuff! Nothing to be embarassed about. I've had anxiety attacks before (not when I was cutting though) and they are NOT fun at all.

Is there anything else in your life thats stressing you out? Any major life changes? The restricted calories/carbs could just be compounding that.. I know when I restricted carbs my brain felt like it was melting. Things seemed way more overwhelming, like it took 500% more effort to complete tasks.

Thanks for the advice, I have also been advised Arnica. If it doesn't help I'll give st johns wort a go. It was really weird cos Ive never had anything like it before.

Hey what's this business of doing legs on Monday? I thought it was chest and triceps day? :pfft:

BTW I like the pretty colours you use for your diet

lol thanks

BTW you wouldn't try to train chest on a Monday evening at my gym. Every wannabe and his mate hog the benches, but the squat-rack is always free :shifty:
