Good on you for throwing away the cigs!!

After smoking for 33 years I used Zyban and I stopped after only 5 days and have never wanted another one, can't stand the smell of people who do smoke! I can't believe I smelt that bad and didn't know!!!

My doc told me the weight gain isn't because you eat more, it's because the nicotine stops you body from processing the food properly and once that is out of your system your body an actually use the food better...

Any weight you gain now will be gone in no time onced your body gets itself sorted..

Tapping is good for a lot of things, I've never found anyone who doesn't like tapping .. lets face it... BG, wouldnt you be rather tapping something hot instead of sucking on a fag ? :grin:

Ok ok, enough of the s#$t talk, congrats on the bench, motivational stuff, you know that 2pps per side is just around the corner :)

DB Bicep curls 9kgsx10, 10kgsx10, 13kgsx10, 15kgsx6 (no 12's on the 3rd flr)

Incline Hammer Curls 8kgsx10, 9kgsx10, 10kgsx10, 13kgsx10

Cable Curls 60lbsx10 - 2 sets 60x6 - 2 sets

Tri Press on bench 40kgsx10 - 4 sets

Cable Press 5pltsx20 SS with ropes 3 pltsx10,5pltsx15 SS with ropes 2 pltsx10 - 3 sets

Thats it pooped, still not over cold. Usually warm up on Xtrainer waiting for my training partner but had to get off after 5mins as I was grossing everyone out with my coughing fits. Weird as this morning I was much better, so I thought.

No smokes today but turning into a crazy grumpy cursing person! Well more so than normal :evil:

AM 45min Xtrainer L12 Random over 500cals

Breakie was 1/2 serve PVL Mutant Mass 500 cals haha not having a full serve that is like 1000 cals. Will get the normal PVL next time, I hope if I don't f*ck up my order again on the net :roll: Mixes OK few wee lumps in the bottom, tastes all good but the standard chocky PVL is waaaaaaay better tasting and better in terms of cals if I want to have before bedtime.

Man I'm still pooped this cold is ARSE. Looking forward to having strength/energy levels back and probably doesn't help being a fat shit and carrying around extra kgs.

Yesterday light leg workout. Very weak still and have my coughing fits between sets :? My weights are ridiculously light but I'll be back to full swing soon :grin:

Squats ATG 30kgsx15, 40kgsx15 - 3 sets (quite a bit less than my 100kgs :( )

Leg Extns 35kgsx15, 35kgsx10 - 3 sets

Seated Hamie Curl x20 - 4 sets can't remember the weight

Seated Calve 50kgsx20 - 4 sets

Finished off Delts from Tuesday just with some DB forward raises SS with rear delt x 10 - 4 sets / 5kg DBs :oops: Then did rear delt machine 30lbsx12 - 4 sets

Strangely my legs are quite sore today haha from what?

Chest & Tris today

I always get severe doms if I miss a workout for more than 7 days....

i.e. more severe than normal.

Here is something else I found: doing some relatively high paced incline walking on treadmill dramatically decreases DOMS in legs.....

do it the morning after....

sorta a morning-after-doms-pill :lol:

Yep that's a snazzy idea Varven but this week I have my children so limited for time in my lunch break but I'm definately going to do a warm-down on a bike or treadie next time.

Flat Bench 20kgsx5, 30x5, 40x5, 50x5, 60x5, 70x5, 80x5, 90x2 :shock:

DB Incline Bench 15kgsx15, 17.5kgsx15, 17.5x10, 17.5x8 hmmm buggered

Cables 15kgsx15, 18x15, 21x15, 21x10

Happy with my bench considering I have been so weak and tired. I can see the 100kg bench press in my sights, but that would look a bit silly for my stats as that is all I can squat and deadlift at the moment, what is up with that? Will have to up my game on those :-s

My spotter for bench was a little scared as she only weights 44kgs, I'm sweet on 80kgs and I said I will only do what I can manage with 90kgs and assured her I wouldn't need help. She was standing on a box as she is so little and cute :grin:

Great cartoon you paint with your poor little spotter - I'd be packin myself too. What help do ya think I'd be??!! I saying that - I have spotted for some of the guys at my gym - 160kg odd! :shock:

haha yeah, I guess you just have to trust the person you are spotting so that they can move the weight correctly and that you are doing just that, there to spot or assist only if necessary not lift the bloody thing haha I hate spotters that want to move the freakin thing, I have yelled at a few people a few times and had to teach explain how to spot (even just hover) even not man handle my dam weights grrrrr

Haha - you sound like me. If I wanted you to lift my set I'd have given you the freakin bench!!! It's what I love about my trainer - only jumps in there when he REALLY knows your struggling.
