SAT 1st NOV Shoulders/Traps

Military Press on Smith 15kg either side x10, 20x6, 15x6 -2 hmm found this harder than doing them on a free bar (olympic) usually can do 50kgs, not 30kgs total :shock: May be as forced into perfectly straight ROM not willy nilly like doing free weights hehe I do notice I have one elbow goes lower with olympic bar and also db's and have to really concentrate.

DB Press Drop Set 14kgsx10, 12x10, 10x10, 8x10 flat out burnies

DB Lat Raise SS Front Raise 6kgsx10 - 4 sets burnies too

DB Rear Delt 6kgsx12 - 4 sets

Rear Delt Mach 33kgsx12, 36kgsx12, 33x10, 33x10

Up right row 20kgsx10 - 4 sets

Shrugs 22kgsx10 - 4 sets

Lunch time Quads & Hammies

Well did the box squats but only paused at bottom, not sitting on box as instructed. There was a few boxes but they were only to parrallel as I sat on them all and looked in the mirror/looked at legs etc.. and this is what I have used in the past. The one I chose was a tiny dam box and I popped two wooden discs under which measured 25cms all up, under parrallel and it was some dam nasty shit!

40kgsx5, 50kgsx5, 60x5, 70x5, 80x5, skip 90, 100 oh no sucky motor just to parrallel for 2 :(

Need to work on my core as when I get to the heavy ones the guts is trying to pop out like a hell!

Hack Squats 40kgs (20 either side) x10 - 4 sets ATG

Laying Hammie Leg Curl drop set 100, 90, 80, 70 x 10

Seated Hamme Curl drop set 100, 90, 80, 70 x 10

Out of time back to work.

Same. Find it VERY unnatural and probably set me up for injuries.

why not try push presses then on to db presses

I is sick, nosey, sore throat and chest infection, heady and tired. My kids gave me germs :( Been sleeping heaps, resting but knew it was coming no matter how many vitamin C's I gobbled, body has just had enough.

REST day today and will see how I feel tomorrow. Grumpy when I can't go but need to listen to the body.

Yep there are some very strong women out there for sure, even in NZ. Look at Ali Gascoigne she is under 55kgs and lifts heavier than me. But good to give it a go and can only get better in time :)

I aint lifting anything except my ass off the couch to get water. Been sleeping and watching crap daytime telly. Went to work and the boss said "what have you got on the go?" Told him and he said to bugger off home as I look and sound too sick :(

Ewww its a gross cold or flu thing. I want to get better ASAP as can't stand being home and not being able to excercise/get to the gym pisses me off big time!

Great news I'm not dead!! Been 1 week since I have trained, this cold/flu thing has been terrible and I had to have my daughters Asthma Inhaler a few times as it was that bad. Been doing lots of sleeping.

I have given up smoking and cookies YAY! I had a patch on today but it appears I have a reaction to the sticky stuff so whipped it off and got some yucky gum and on my 3rd piece. Determined to give this filthy habbit the boot!!! Cookies are bad!!! Oh and so are the fags! :pfft:

Today: still have coughing fits but feeling a lot better so going to take it easy... but still train.

40min walk this am ooh bit huff & puff, but feeling good.

Chest & Tri's tonight, not sure if I will have the strength to hit the 80kg bench so just going to take things nice and slow and ease back into training this week.

Weight: 77.5kgs :shock: :shifty: (Nattys: 67.8kgs)

Bench 80kg

Squat 100kg

Deadlift 100kg

Diet: oats/protein, protein shake+carrrot (dunno why just fancied some today), tuna+broad beans (love these nom nom nom), shake+carrot, 6 egg whites omlette with sauerkraut, capsicum, spring onion+shrimps for dinner, shake

Will post up tonights w/o later :D

Hmmm yeah I have just gone cold turkey in the past as couldn't wear the patches and the gum was disgusting. Yeah I put on weight too. The gum isn't that gross and better than smoking. Smoko time so about to have piece 5 for the day. Only feel the urge to go outside thats all. I figure if I'm on a strict diet I have no room to snack and put anymore weight on as my goal at the mo is to loose a few kg, so gaining BAD weight isn't going to happen.

Well done Biggurl your lungs will be thankful!! I quit after 15 years of smoking, well I quit several times but have stuck at this last time!! I used the nicorette inhalers which have nicotine in them but it's OK as there's no tar apparently so not addictive and it helps with what to do with your hands. My husband used zyban which is a prescription from the doctor and makes you not want to smoke I would reccommend that if you're having a hard time at all. Yay keep going!!! :nod:

Got my back arched and shoulders firm, feet flat and think I'm sorted, pause on chest, meeting with coach on Thursday so she will put me right if I'm a bit off. It was cool watching those PL world champ vids today that OB put up. Shit they are strong, makes me feel rather weak.

i found the chewing gum helped a lot cause you're actually doing something with your mouth as well
