Do it postal, Four Sections, Best Squat, Best Bench, Best Deadlift and Best Total

And do it by Wilks Bodyweight divided by Weight Lifted.

Thanks guys and gals.

I have looked at the stats for last year and there are some dam strong ladies out there, that weigh a lot less than me.

Deadlifts tonight, that should prove to be interesting as I kinda suck at them. Will reset like you suggest SS ta :grin:

Deadlifts 60kgsx5, 70x5, 80x5, 100x2, 100x3, 110x0 FAIL just of the floor haha that was weird as I have done 100 for 8 before so a bit gutted 10x60kgs to finish

WG Seated Row 50kgsx10, 55x10, 60x10, 65x10

Lat Pull down 30kgx10, 36x10 - 3 sets

Bicep DB curls 10kgsx10 - 2 sets, 12.5kgsx8 - 2 sets

Cable curls 21kgsx10, 28kgsx10 - 3 sets

Bi Mach 40lbsx8, 30lbsx8 - 3 sets

Thats it for today, baby girls back after work till next Friday morn. Shoulders tomorrow at Hutt City Les Mills, 2 hours creche for the girls. Hope the weather is nice this weekend like today, but suppose to turn to shit...bugger!

Squats Monday Lunch time eeeek these shall prove to be interesting. Now PL's out there; for squats practice should I do some box squats or just go just below parallel? Any tips? Not meeting with my PL coach till week after next you see.

With only a month to go I think you should just work on your squatting technique. You should probably use a really low box that you have to touch to know you're below parallel.

Varven I have no idea what my weight/bf is at the mo, I have can't see my abs properly anymore eek! I plan to have those suckers back soon. BB off season it is best to stay no higher than 15% BF so that is my goal and that is about 70kgs for me. Not sure what I am at the mo. Will check soon.

But yeah not concentrating on that at the moment, just trying to get some heavy lifts in and no I have no idea what I am doing in terms of Powerlifting but giving it a crack :D

I would say definately box squats. I missed these out completely and got a whole heap of failed lifts for depth even though I swear I was being parallel. They failed a s**t load of women for depth. Plus box squats are meant to be mean for getting you out of the "hole" :)

Depends.

Box squatting properly requires learning technique to use your hamies and glutes.

Do not confuse this with depth.

Learn to box squat, Use boxes of different heights - start with parallel and drop the depth.

You can use pause squats as an assistance ex too.

Id listen to Varven he seem to actually know what he is talking about hehe. I think my biggest downfall was I always squatted looking into a mirror for my depth and kinda relied on that instead of the "feel" of it.

Just to clarify what I said here. Don't do actual box squatting, just use the box to verify depth for now.

Squatting to a box = Your arse just touching the box and you explode back up

Box Squat = Fully sitting up the box, releasing your hip flexor, then exploding back up (much harder than normal squatting)

Soundsgood pretty much covered it. There's a big different between just touching and sitting.
