F**K me that was hard! I don't usually swear but there's no other word for it!

got up at 3:30am this morning and shovelled brekkie down then headed to the start line in devonport gun went off at 6:10am, I got to the half way point (21km) in good shape and Mr Husband met me with some sunscreen, superpump and a banana, by the 36km mark it was intense, the pain is like no other! Managed to beat darthvader and a storm trooper so quite happy with that! :grin:

I have my finishers medal and are in my PJs now covered in anti-flamme stuff!

Absolutely buggered now!

I am hobbling today, whenever I stand up it's like I'm being stabbed in my hamstrings :shock: I have slathered more deep heat on my legs and will take more painkillers. How on earth marathon-man did 50 marathons in 50 days consecutively he must be mad. I walk to work so this will be interesting today, might loosen me up though. I'm back to Le gym on Wednesday I have a date with torturer at 5:30am!

Sorry I dont of any shops in the Auckland area that do sell mobilty scooters but I did find a moblity scooter shop in the Auckland area that dose hire mobilty scooters http://www.invacare.co.nz not to sure if they deliver it might be best to contact them
