Did you need a zimmer frame after doing double RPM?

I would like one now GR after my 30km run I'm hobbling like a hobbly thing do you know where I can get one in Auckland?

Yes I do know were you can buy a zimmer frame in Auckland. There is a zimmer frame shop out in Te Ataue it is near Club Phyiscal but I can not remember the name of the shop.

30km run

  8) Getting closer aye Vee... 4 weeks and 6 days? How did you feel you went on the 30? You can borrow my Zimmer frame if you like :salute:

I ran it too late in the day I was up all night in agony, ended up taking painkillers, my legs are soooooo sore today. I ended up doing 7.5 hours of cardio on the weekend  SO I'm having a rest day today and possibly tomorrow.

nice work on the front squats

Fanks, I'm loving front squats I prefer them to back ones although I can go heavier on the back ones I feel I have better form on the fronts, they feel better to me anyhow.

Good plan chicky  Do you have anymore big runs planned or are you tapering? I'd have thought you'd have stopped doing long runs by 5-6 weeks out? Or was this your last one pre-thon?

Thanks Rose! :P I have a small run this weekend- 16km then the following weekend it's the 36km then I'm all about the tapering that will be 4 weeks out to the full whamy!

I need to practise on my 36km with what I'm going to wear and eat exactly for the marathon ie: get up eat the brekkie I will eat on the day and wear the same clothes, ipod, etc etc and make sure it all works and nothing is irritating me.

If something starts chaffing after 10mins of running you can imagine what it's like after several hours!

Last year I lost a toe nail as I didn't cut my toe nails short enough, that ain't gonna happen this year!

hey vee as the others have said "hail to the cardio queen" Good on ya for having rest days...so important for recovery..or so I've found out the hard way

I am knackered! Sure I'm being sensible by having a couple of rest days but I have no enthusiasm to go for a long run right now anyway!!

I have 5am training with torture person tomorrow I mean PT. :pfft:
