Yeh I know what you mean, but they go so well together!

26km run tomorra :shock: I'm resting up today and planning the endeavor plus my nose won't stop running at the mo goddmanit!

Ran 26km this morning, pretty grueling towards the end, stopped half way and ate a banana, need to take more food with me on these long runs I was bloody starving by the time I got back!

So I'm over half way to the full 42km, it's really nice being out with other runners, there seems to be more out this time of the year, during the winter there's very few of us about. I played tag with another girl runner all the way out then lost her on the way back.

6 weeks till the marathon :shock: I feel better about it now I'm upping the mileage I'm feeling more confident about finishing!

Did a small weights sesh this morning, nose is still running and it's driving me mad :evil: and I sounds like Janis Joplin damn sicky!!!

WEIGHTS

Incline Fly DB: 7kg x10, x8,x8

Seated row: 45lb x12, x10, x10

Bent over BB row: 20kg x12 x2

Upright BB row: 17.5kg x10, 15kg x12

Lat pulldowns: 30kg x12, 45kg x12 x2

Plank: 150 sec (I think that's a record I will have to go check)

Chins: as usual x10 a day

FOODSICLES:

Abysmal been out shopping all day and ate bad :oops:

Yes I needed a BIG banana for that run, it was tricky carrying one that size all that way!

No I think there might have been something wrong with her if she was running as slow as me, she might have had a broken leg or something :shock:

No Seriously it's very rare I find somebody that runs my pace, last year the blind runner past me.

I think that was my record, I went back over my planks and I have done 2.5 mins once before they are a neccessary evil :twisted:

Right, well you know when you're tired and a bit sick and you do stoopid things?

That's me today. :grin:

I had a 12 hour conference at work then went to Le Gym.

STOOPID Vee, well it's not entirely my fault! Some lovely person left 80kg of weights on the squat rack, so I go and start taking the weights off to do deads and I took them all off one side all at once. :shifty:

Of course the whole bar goes flying in SLLLOOOOOWWWWW motion.

I'm stood there going 'crap, crap, crap'

ONE very nice gentlemanly bloke from a ENTIRE room of men came over to help!

So had a crap food and training day, it was one of those days that I will have to try again tomorrow.

Funnily enough that actually does happen, I get people rushing past me to only have to slow down and walk later on, I just plod away at the same pace and manage to gain some ground sometimes!!!

Seen it happen - actually did it once, at PT's place so there was an audience of only one...

But in Wellington there's loads gentlemanly blokes who would have helped (eventually! :grin:). Something to look forward to....
