I'd have thought you Aucklanders were used to running in the rain....does it ever actually stop? Every time I pass thru the airport it's hosing down, makes for fun getting between terminals.

Guess it solves that hydration problem tho Vee, huh ? (or did you pack a water bottle just in case) - and 15k makes my 10k pale

I see something funny most mornings that I really wanted to photograph for you but I didn't have my phone today and I forgot to go back when I left for work. Tomorrow!

Good eating and w/o Vee.

Re movie, don't cha hate it when that happens :pfft:

Re the photo, it was just this little hom... I mean gnome. Heh. It's been suggested I call him Terry.

He 'lives' at the bottom of some stairs I jog up. I pay homage to him every time, cos he's one of the few I see at that time of the day...

I dunno, just one of those lame random things you see and take note of. Does anyone have any idea what I mean? :pfft:

Wellington is a great city it can get very windy at times also Wellington is easy for walking around in the CBD area. When dose get windy in Wellington my advice is if you are wearing a hat when you are out walking when it dose get windy would be to hold on to your hat very tight the wind can get very strong when it is coming off the harbour.Wellington has lots of great places for eating out.

Good work on getting lots of PB's :dancing: :dancing:

Thanks GR!!

Hooray for PBs - and for passing the driving test. :jive: :dancing:

Of course, down in the Nation's capital we have buses and trains that actually work, and some of the narrowest, windiest, gnarliest streets

eek! I figure if I can drive in Auckland I can drive anywhere! REALLY want a car now!! I'm borrowing one for 2 months in August :rockout: and are currently trying to convince myself I need one for when I move to wellywood!!

Of course, down in the Nation's capital we have buses and trains that actually work

Well, mostly  Enough that I've never needed to learn to drive.

Good one with the PBs.

Thanks Chillcat! Really? I don't need to drive in Wellington? :(

Maybe I'll go live really FAAAAR out of the city so I have to!
