Sick Vee at the moment

I have an infection in my left arm that I have been ignoring since Sunday but there was NO ignoring it today!! So went to docs and have some penicilin and codeine (woohoo!) to fix it, I can't bend my arm as it's right in the joint so no lifting for me. The thought of lifting stuff is making me cringe in fact!!

I will ride this out and fingers crossed be better by the end of the week!! Feel like crap and I hate not training!!!

I WILL be better very soon!!!!! I will, I will!!

Went back to the doctor today as my arm is still the infected yukky same!! The doctor was like "We'll just pop you into the operating theater and cut it out" AAAAArrggghhhh!!!(that's what I was saying in my head, but I actually just said very casually 'OK') So he gave me a local anesthetic and cut out the infection in my arm, he was over-joyed and the amount of crap he got out and has packed it open with gauze that I am to take out on Sunday. Oh, how I look forward to that!!!

SO no lifting/gym/running/exercise STILL poo! Feel a little shaky but relieved as it should get better now!!!! :shifty:

Just thought I'd share my gruesome morning with you! (hope you're not eating anything at the mo!) Bring on the codeine!

quad workout then running home from the gym?? mad,mad woman

Yep, :ditto: that... I did a massive legs workout then cycled back to my place at th top of the hills in Wellington. That ride was very long, and very very slooooow

Methinks that if you "could" run home after a legs workout with some PB's in it, then there's intensity left untouched.... great workout tho!

Thanks TFB! I know what you mean, but I had to walk home anyway and I figure if you can physically walk it you can run it! (that's marathon training inbuilt into me!) Cycling would be ALOT harder after a leg workout for me that's for sure!!

nice work on the squats vee :)

Thanks Laura! I've been DYING to get up to 60kg! It's a milestone for me as it's also my body weight, there something really good about be able to lift your own weight. If I could BENCH that that would be COOL!
