Well, I learned when I was like 11... and I remember pretty good. I'm also pretty good at teaching myself stuff from books so that's what I'm doing. My machine is packed up at the mo cos of the move, but once I'm settled in I'll start sewing again. Just doing simple stuff like skirts and dresses: nothing fancy, just trying to improve my skills.

I have some clothes that I would like duplicates of actually, so maybe I could come to you to make me the pattern \:D/ Do you charge by the hour or by the job?

I work for a fashion label full time and haven't really done any out-work for years! I can copy a pattern off a garment for you, I guess I would charge by the hour. Do you live in Auckland? You could join my pattern making class it starts up again in 5 weeks it is on a Wednesday night!

O nice. I might consider that, although I think soccer practice is on Wednesday nights too

Have been in The Tron for the weekend eating far too much visiting the parental units- or several disfunctional parents as mine are!

I have about 10 easter eggs left I am not kidding, 4 creme eggs, 2 hollow eggs, 1 chocolate bunny, and the rest are small solid eggs.

I'm thinking about taking them to work so I don't eat the rest of them!

I am in a dilemma about which gym to join. My apartment blocks gym is very small and I have run out of weights in it. Our building manager said if I write a list of equipment I need he can put it to the board and see if we can get more stuff. BUT one of the girls at work is selling her Les Mills membership it has 18 months left at $20 a week and she will pay the transfer fee and Les Mills is a 2 min walk from my apartment. I could also join the uni gym or BTS gym which are all really close too and they are cheaper than LM.

Anywho that is what I am pondering over at the moment.

I would highly recomend joining Les Mills best thingh about being a member a Les Mills is you can use your Les Mills gym member ship at any Les Mills gym through out NZ.

Yes that is very handy! I have only been to the one here in Auckland and it's HUGE- quite possibly the biggest gym I have ever seen!

When I train at Les Mills Auckland it put's my gym Les Mills Dunedin to shame because of the size for Les Mills Auckland plus Les Mills Auckland they lots of nice weights and cardio as well plus a nice shop wear you can buy gloves, straps, Les Mills gears etc.The staff at Les Mills Auckland are helpfull and friendly which would include sales staff, Personal trainers etc.
