I'm gonna take this week off weights, I'm buggered! I haven't stopped for 5 months and my knees are complaining so I will embrace the holiday season and chill out! I am going to Hamilton tomorrow to be with the family-type people and will take my running gear with me in case I feel the need to run, but otherwise I will start back into it on Saturday when I get back.

Merry Christmas to anybody who is reading my journal!!! see ya in 5 days!!!

Haha I like how you included 4 scorched almonds as an entire meal! :pfft:

Well there's most of the main food groups in a scorched almond no?

There's nuts, dairy, chocolate and a happy feeling whilist eating them! :P

Good point but you only had 4? How did you stop yourself from eating more?! I would have had the whole box and I probably wouldnt have shared any! :pfft:

I was in bed by 9:30pm last night! Got woken up at 12 as I live NEXT to the sky tower and I watched the fireworks then back to bed. SO I'm all REFRESHED this morning!

It's 7:30am and I have done my weights and been for a run!

WEIGHTS:

BB Curl: 3x15 7.2kg/10kg/10kg (PB!)

Preacher curl: 3x15 5kg

Hammer curl: 3x15 5kg each hand (*extra set on left arm)

Lat pull down: 3x15 50lb/50lb/40lb

Lawnmowers: 3x15 10kg

Bent over BB Rows: 3x15 10kg (new one)

* my left arm is smaller than my right - like 1cm all around so I read somewhere that you can do an extra set on your smaller arm, with the same weight and it will eventually catch up.

HIT 10mins -what is with this 10 mins? this is the second time this week!! I turned it down a notch today to be sure I would be OK but I'm breathless and knackered

Wel 10 mins in better than none

FOOD:

I have had my Postworkout protein shake about to have a coffee and banana.

I am off to the airport now to go to Wellington so I have no idea what I will be eating over the next couple of days.

I'm gonna take some PP with me and I'm staying with my best friend who survives on wine and olives so it will be interesting!

See you on Sunday!
