Vee's Journal

Seen it happen - actually did it once, at PT's place so there was an audience of only one...

But in Wellington there's loads gentlemanly blokes who would have helped (eventually!). Something to look forward to....

So you're THAT girl... the one I overtake at the 3km, 5km, and 7km mark, only to see her pass me at 4km, 6km, 8km and the FINISH LINE

Oh I feel better that somebody else has done this too, I'm sure the guys are much more helpful in Wellington, not that I will be doing that again!

I don't think I've passed anybody at the finish line!

I once had to run past the finish line to find the race director to tell them I had finished and to record my time as they had packed everything up and thought everybody had finished- but I hadn't!!!

Am I allowed to laugh at that? :shifty: It's pretty funny Vee! In a good way! 8)

Sometimes tipping the plates off is the quickest way of emptying the bar! Specially when your arms are so munted you can't be arsed etc :jive: :pfft:

22ks...geez aint you got a car? Dudess...thats twice round the bays

yeppy doodle dandy! Cars are for lazy people! I am booked in for the Auckland marathon on November 1st  that is 42km.

I need some practise ie: training to be able to run that far hence the stupidly long runs!

daym how long does it take you to run that on a good day?

i cant even run up the block without having a cardiac arrest :-s (no lies)

i might try long distance running... first day run past the first block , then 2nd day same thing..... lol... and then maybe a week or two later i can run a second block..... and slowly but surely...i'll get to Mcdonalds

Heh, I've been experimenting with Sunflower Butter and Almond Butter. Them two together make a mighty fiiiiiiiiiiiine mix. I can't remember the last time I ate peanut butter. In fact, I might never have had it  Woah! :-s

Crappy-ola weather today so ditched the road run and went and spent the afternoon in Le Gym. The weather has since cheered up so * fingers crossed* it's all sunny tomorra!

Went did a 'body balance' class as my PT has been telling me I need to for months as I am a typical inflexible runner apparently!

So went and did all that which was nice and relaxing for a change.

Then double spin class :pale:

Somebody has gone and filled my legs up with concrete while I wasn't looking :pfft:

FOODSICLES

M1: sludge

M2: eggs, ham, spinach, asparagus, grapefruit

M3: eggs, ham, spinach, asparagus
