Haha no wonder you're not keen! All good though - just ease yourself back into it with a nice small cut of lamb or something.

=P~ Now I can't stop thinking about meat.

I don't think I've ever eaten lamb :shock: I have had chicken, beef and venison before oh and ham and bacon. This could be a whole new world of food opening up!

aaaa day off from training yesterday this is great!

WEIGHTS

Deads: 42.5kg x12, x10,x8

Front squat: 20kg x10 x2

Squat: 20kg x10 x2

Assisted pull up: 50lb x2.5 (PB!)

DB chest press: 10kg x12, 12.5kg x12, x10, x8

Incline DB fly: 7kg x10, x8, x8, x6, x4 (to fail)

Dips: bench to bench straight legged x15, x12, x12 (to fail)

DB shoulder press: 5kg x16, 6kg x12, x10 x8 x12 5kg x16

DB Rotator cuff: 3kg x12 x2

DB lunge arms above head: 5kg x15 x2 each leg

Going to the tron tomorrow to pick up 'The car' am very excited!! I get to drive for 2 months!!! Beware!!

Picked up car from the Tron and drove back to Dorkland, got all the way back and scraped it on somebodies car in New World car park :roll:

But it was a teeny scrape and I couldn't see anything wrong with their car, mine now has red paint on it but no other damage :oops:

Now I can drive everywhere!! yay!!!

I ran 8km this morning around the Waikato river, managed to get lost!

food has been bad this weekend I caved in to all the chocy biscuits and pasta my step mother and mother-in-law offered me, I usually say no and eat a protein shake, they looked happier I was eating there bad food. So I have declared a no more bad food month I need to lose this fat! I have signed up with scivation for a programme and should get it in the next coupla weeks.

20 mins HIIT on treadmill today, I haven't done HIIT for AGES, felt good!

M1: protein shake

M2: oats, 2 scoop PP, banana

M3: tuna, wrap, veges

M4: pear, orange

M5: protein shake

M6: tuna, veges

M7: protein shake

REALLY need to get my butt out of bed and go running in the morning it is always difficult the first time then it gets easier, my alarm goes off at 5am and I switch it off and go back to sleepy land zzzzzzzz

LAST week of this job I start my new job next week! Wednesday is my last day! Hoorah! 4 days off!! I shall be lifting and running for those 4 days!!!

That's so true. First time it's just too hard, but once you've done it, it's like your body knows how great you're going to feel if you can just overcome that evil first five minutes.

Yeah, listen to me, haven't done a morning session for ages, what would I know! But when I used to live in Chch and had a pool a block away from me, it was super hard the first time to get up at 6am for a swim, but after that I was almost up before my alarm, I was so keen!

yeh and 5am is hard, I get up at 6am anyway for work! My new job starts later so I could get up at 6am and go to gym and then work next week, but I guess 6am will be then new 5am and still difficult to get up when you don't HAVE to!

Awesome prone holds! I can barely manage a minute on front ones :?

Oh thanks Chill! A year ago I could only do 15sec my core was my weakest point so I am very happy with being able to do these!!

Vee is a prone hold officionado! she got me doing them, now i can do 1min with 20k on my lower back (shaking like a bitch by the 50sec.mark)

you should start adding a little weight to them vee! or the ones with one leg elevated are cool too or in other words 8)

Hmmm plate on back heh? I will try this on Tharsdee!

Yay finished old job and now have 4 days off till I start new job!! So some morning torture with trainer today!

SFS I asked her about weighted prone holds and she is going to research it as she hadn't heard of them before and didn't want me to injure myself blah blah blah. So we'll see what she comes back with!

WEIGHTS:

Leg press: 60kg x12x2 haven't done this for 4 months or more

Seated leg curl: 42.5kgx12, x10 47.5kg, x10

Leg Extension: 42kg x12, x2

Pullups: unassisted got about 1 inch up!

Pullups assisted: 80lb x12 x2 70lb x10, x8

Parallel bars dips: x5 1/2 ones haven't done these for ages too

DB pullover: 7kg x12, 8kg x12 x2

Bench press: 35kg x8, 30kg x10

Cable woodchop: 15kg x15x2

Cable crossover: 5kg x15 x2

Bent over BB rows: 20kg x12, x10, x8, x12, x16

Swissball extension: x15x2

FOOD

M1: protein shake, banana

M2: postworkout shake

M3: chicken :shock: wrap, veges, pb

M4: yoghurt, 2 scoop pp

M5: tuna, wrap, veges

Chicken tastes just like I remember it funnily enough, not very exciting at all, it's a good change from tuna but slight gag reflex going on. I haven't eaten it in 15 years or something hmmmmm it wasn't like 'oh that's delicious' I will try other animals and see if they taste better :grin:

MMmmm other animals... You have to remember that chicken is like the "base" flavour for stuff the meat god never got around to flavouring hence the saying "[insert random meat] tastes just like chicken" comes from. Chicken is right at the beginning of the "the meat spectrum" which goes right up to the gamey wild meats at the other end :nod:

Yep you're right! After much discussion and thinking about it my meat eating friends reckoned to start with chicken and build my way up to wild boar or some such exotic animal! Tuna is winning this round though, it still tastes better than chicken even though I'm sick of it! Husband/butcher has some sort of steak fermenting for me apprantly - just got-to-not-think-about-what-the-animal-was-and-what-its-name-was-and-if-its-parents-are-missing-it!!

In other exciting news:

I found a couple of thermos's in the stupidmarket, small ones as I like taking my porridge to work pre-cooked and I hate heating it in the microwave. I didn't know which one to get so I got both, they were like $7.50 each which is cheap! I think I could put my oats in either but I will try it and see which one is better.

I haven't seen this size thermos before so I am very excited!

They do them in other colours but the pink ones are the bestest!! :grin:

Thanks PNW! Back in the dark side huh! I am useless at cooking the meat! I have just nearly burned down my apartment trying to cook the stuff! How can it be so burnt on the outside yet bloody in the middle?

So will wait for old man to get home to explain, I am sitting in a fog of smoke praying the fire alarms don't go off!

Have opened up trusty can 'o tuna instead. It's great having time off I have re-vamped my diet (middle set is lurking panic panic!!) and I'm trying out my free tester of pitbull that has been sitting in my cupboard for ages.

Feel rather energetic after that!

What you need's one of these :)

I get nice thick slices of rump - 4 minutes for perfection. Use baking paper, no smoke, no fuss, and not very much clean-up. Oh, and it also does chicken (8-9 mins for chicken breasts) and kumara (similarly, 8-9 minutes for 1cm-thick slices).

Got my bucket o' egg whites today can't wait to try them out!! yum yum!

Ran treadmill intervals various speeds and inclines 30 mins

Bike intervals 20 mins

185 gram of tuna can isn't 185grams, it is including the tin. But the tuna itself is 150 grams. I really need to start my new job too much time on my hands!!

M1: protein shake

M2: 4 egg whites, 3 whole eggs

M3: (this is where the chicken caught on fire!) can tuna, peanut butter

M4: can tuna, peanut butter, asparagus

M5: postworkout shake

M6: chicken (husband came home cooked the chicken), peanut butter, asparagus,lettuce

M7: Protein shake

New diet is 5 days low carbs, high fat, 2 days high carbs low fat.

Needed a change I've been flogging the same diet for a year now so we'll see where this takes me!
