Good start, but if your trying to loose weight don't bother with the "Up & Go". It's loaded with sugar and you'll get better results doing cardio fasted.

Also, since you're doing early-morning cardio, you could have a coffee (mix with half cold water if necessary) beforehand, and have a protein shake instead of the Up-n-Go (even the little packs the New World sells are better than that) afterwards.

Sadly, one of the key elements in successful weight loss is discipline... appreciate it's hard for you in your job where the work depends on when the customers show-up - but a little creative planning to take some healthy options with you could prove helpful.

What attracted you to Sculpt?

In my view, it's possibly helpful to understand what additives might (or might not) be in a protein powder to help achieve your specific goals.

Some powders have loads of carbs added (mass builders) and others don't - in my case I steer clear of anything with carbs in, going for the most protein/least carbs/sugars, to help keep the protein-carb-fat ratio right.

If you're definitely after sculpt, you could do worse than searching through the loyal advertisers on the right-hand side...

to be honest i think that sculpt is overpriced and is marketed towards women who dont know any better but see the word woman on it and think gee that must be right for me.

protein is protein, better advice would be to buy a quality 5pound tub for around 90$ it will last you heeeeaps longer and probably have a better nutrient profile, but if you just want a cheap protein powder then yea sculpt is alright.

Luigi's words made sense to me...

I agree with Luigi that supermarket proteins tend not to be the cheapest, and that Sculpt, altho not bad in itself, is aimed at women who don't know better.

Me, I like Metaphysics protein powders, Dymatize Elite, PVL and Balance, and once I find a brand I like, I'll shop around.

luigi... is it over priced? or a cheap protein powder?

that post made a whole lotta sense lol

lol oops just read my post and i see what you mean

i ment to say its overpriced for what it is.

but its cheap (around 30$) compared to a decent larger tub so if she didnt want to spend much money then itd be a good choice

Ok so my diet at the weekend went down the drain, a lot of fizzy, sugary alcohol was involved... does puking up dinner count as dieting :? wont be doing that for a while

was back on track today still with a sore head

breakfast: sculpt with some stewed rhubard

morning tea: unsweetened yoghurt and frozen berries

lunch: chicken and vegetable frittata (probably had a lot of butter in it cause it was made at my work)

I should probably add in here that i drink a LOT of coffee...

dinner: hubbie made corned beef! ahhh salt! but it's my favourite meal, couldn't help myself

Coffee is nectar of th gods  it's the milk that's no good :pfft:

Ass for the corned-beef, if there were spuds or kumara with it, that's bad...but if it was salad or green veggies, not so much... I can't remember the last time I had good corned beef, coupla slabs of it would be so nice =P~
