Split? whats that haha.

With exams ive been shifting everything round a bit also changes frequently depending on how im feeling, what feels strong that day, what mate im going to the gym with.

I can give bench my all on an average day but no way deadlifts, squats are in between. Also i think im pulling some contortionist sleeping moves, woke up with killer shoulder joint pain and an intense dead arm where i was sleeping on it, was right the next day though.

basic plan was

m -bench, pullups

t- deads or squats, military press

w- the one i didnt do on tuesday by itself

th- same as monday

f- same as tuesday

s- same as wednesday

s- probably off.

somewhere in there will be a few sets of curls and the stuff i do at home, static core stuff and joint work.

will be able to get back to plan now im done with exams though, bit worried about lower back in lower rep squats, have feet wide, keep the arch and tensed abs yet im still feeling uncomfortable.

Try a Neutral Spine not arched, instead of the head being tilted back, try looking at a spot about 3 meters in front of you on the floor. You can tilt your head back from the bottom position on the way up, it may still arch your back. If it is still uncomfortable, keep your head in the same position as the start, or just tilt back a little, it helps with the drive up and back.

Cheers OB will try next squats session, maybe i was having too much of an arch. Have also been reading up a bit as its only on one side, coincidently the side i have poor hip mobility and always have done, and apparently im not supposed to sleep on my stomach either.

I do it out of the cage and with no spot so i dont goto failure

Cant complain at that, im sure i could get 130 now. May be difficult judging depth without a mirror though.

went to do deads yesterday but back wasnt 100% so stopped at 140kg.

Just gotta add 5 more kg to bench before the comp then get a 105 or so paused bench.

yeah got a pair of nice stripies, also got some obscenely small stubbies a chick gave me that are my only shorts that dont cover knees, better test run them first though heh heh wouldnt want a rip at the bottom of a squat.

Will take 4 days off before comp, dont think i could take a whole week off id just go nuts. Will probably cut out alot of the milk im drinking and just take it easy, just a bit of stretching here and there, watch the diet, pray that scales are on the high side and hope that any niggles sort themselves out.

to show knees for lockout, i either have boardshorts which i would have to roll up or these stubbies, maybe ill get some kind of squat suit effect haha.

Im in between Uni and finding a summer job at the moment so if i dont go gym i have sweet screw all to do, alot of friends have returned home or have fulltime jobs already. Should have sorted something by the open, if anyone in wellington reading this can make use of a 2nd year commerce student that would be awesome.

what to do 2moro eh... might try deads again.
