SO my new plan is more chicken. No more crazy food that screws up my blood sugar levels and messes with my IR. Im going back on the pill so hopefully that will help me lose weight too because my hormones wont be so messed up. :/

Your health is paramount, so the warning from your doc is good motivation to lose the extra kgs.. piss off symptoms! :P

Btw, the pill makes you lose weight?? Every time I went on it, I blew up lol. Yeah... I blame the pill for that :shifty:

No it hasn't really effected my weight before. But I have major hormone issues that the pill helps level out so I am hoping it may help *a bit*. But the most important thing for me is going to be low carbs because of my Insulin Resistance. Back to chicken, isolate and greens!!

Laura Docs base that on BMI, with you increasing your excercise naturally your body composition is changing and you will loose fat and gain muscle so you will be heavier than the average woman or before you started excercising so much. According to the BMI I am obese. Yeah no fat jokes thanks :pfft:

My mate went to get her pill last week and the Doc said to her that she should do some cardiovascular excercise as her weight hasn't dropped. She trained with me in my contest prep with cardio 2 times per day and weights 4-5 times per week and shes is solid as hell. Her clothes are loose and she looks great. She had her measurements done on Saturday so I told her to email them through to the doc with the ones taken 6 months ago and tell the doc to shove them up her arse!

You may need to loose weight, yes however, I think an "athletic" person doing cardio and weight training is going to be heavier than a bird that sits around and eats shit and stays skinny as a rake around 55-60kgs.

Anyway thats my rant, just something to think about I guess.

Yeah I tried to have a discussion with her on muscle mass and how it effects your weight and it just ended with me shaking my head and wondering *how did you get thru med school*...

The thing is my BMI is still normal anyway and she admitted that, it just seems to be that my repro health is better the closer I am to 60kgs.

Anyway I am sick. Not sure what it is, could be side effects from doxy, its a mean antibiotic that gives loads of people side effects. Been at home all day dizzy, headache etc. Got dressed to walk the dog and start cold sweating thought naaaaaah.

Hopefully I will be all good for gym tomorrow alarm is set for 6am.

Diet today:

carbrite bar 190cal

2eggs, spinach and 50g smoked salmon

chicken salad

:( sigh. what a kick up the ass that has been.. and I know thats not enough food Im simply to nauseous to eat, body needs to heal or something.

BG's right, BMI is a crude yardstick Docs use to beat-up on the uninformed!

You sound like you're already really self-aware and well-educated on what works for you, so listen to the body, rest-up a while :nod:

Well I actually felt OKish when I woke up this morning so off I went to the gym. I had 2/3 of a pb before I went, I ALMOST had eggs but my stomach was like oh hells no.

Had the other 1/3rd after. And just had some chicken now \:D/

I definately wouldn't train fasted the day after eating like that. Hope you have some FOOD before you train tomorrow, otherwise I don't like your chances of doing anything productive. :)

Don't sweat it. With eating less food, you're supposed to be cutting back on training volume anyway :nod:

Just had a mean protein shake! I'm trying to get all of my cals from fat/protein for the next few days then I will gradually introduce some carbs in an attempt to get my insulin levels down.

Shot of espresso

10 ice cubes

30g isolate unflavoured

30g cream

could really have done with some stevia but left it at work. But was just like a yummy iced coffee

hmm. i wonder if i can make some protein ice cream :o

mm yeah it was good and i made it into practically a frappacino with my blender. I just wonder if I can do a proper ice cream with some egg yolks and stuff and ice cream maker and then add in some protein powder at the end or something... must...experiment :D

I was feeling better till lunchtime when i felt like death! I think I need some flavoured protein powder my unflavoured stuff is getting hard to stomach. I just had my last meal, soo nauseous the only thing I can handle is protein powder :(

Just popped out and got some Xanathan Gum... woah this stuff is magic! I think I will definately try the ice cream now that I have seen how this works, transformed my shake into creamy soft thick goodness :) mmmm.

M2: Chicken salad when I feel like I can eat again

No excercise, wanted to walk but still feel iffy as. Hopefully gym tomorrow. Yay friday tomorrow \:D/

well this is gonna top one of my worst days ever i feel. this morning off I went to the gym to do deadlifts. I love deadlifts!!

SO i was on my heaviest set 85 (did heavier last fri) and went to go for a second rep, got the weight just off the ground and felt this INTENSE pain in my back and just dropped it. tried to stand up, couldnt, kind of fell/sat down thinking OMG what have i done.

I was in epic amounts of pain. I dont know quite how I managed to walk up the stairs or drove home but I did.. with much pain and tears and awkward movements. anyway I got myself to the physio this morning and I have done something to my L5 S1 whatever that is, looks like the joint between your spine and your ass bone pretty much. She did help a lot and I managed to regain a surprising amount of movement when I was there. I basically have to do these push up things with keeping my pelvis flat so i can regain back extension movements. man. waaaaaaat.
