Seemed to have plenty of energy, but the weights all seemed very heavy today. I do have sore traps (squatting yesterday?) and a pulled muscle in my forearm (stifflegs??) so that may be a factor. Back tomorrow could be interesting - no training partner tomorrow.

O.M.G.....just compared your DB shoulder press to my SM press - between BG out-doing me on the bench, and your shoulders, I gotta hit the weights harder  - great effort tho! \:D/

Let's hope the back and arms are in good shape for the weekend! Being on that horse wouldn't be much fun otherwise! [Was going to say "being on Gerry McGuire" but that mighta sounded wrong!]

So, yet again I have done my back on a 100kg deadlift. It appears not to be a form issue, as my trainer was right there and he didn't even realise I'd hurt myself. Managed one rep with belt on, which was better, but still painful (like remember to breath painful!).

Been to doc, got some pills, ACC form, X rays & physio referral. Best case sceanrio it's just a sprain, worst case scenario I have a compress fracture. Let's hope for the former over the latter.

Oh crap, that sux!

No horses this weekend?

TFB!! Please - like a little bit of a sore back is going to stop me competing??!! Not bloody likely. Just going to require a few more deep breaths. Not sure how the X country will go.......fast maybe :?

That's what I wanted to hear - the way you were talking compress fracture sounded like a showstopper...

Get out there and show everyone (including doubters like me!) what you're made of!

Oh....and comp on Jerry McGuire on Sun went OK. Good dressage test (by Jerry's standards), judge wasn't entirely in agreement with me. One stop in the show jumping - rider error, didn't have him lined up very well. One stop in the X Country - again rider error. Was too busy worrying about the #14 jump when I was only at #11. In the end the two jumps that I was worried about were all good. One of the easiest on the course was my undoing because I lost focus and wasn't riding him forward. Live & learn - won't do that again!!

We think you're wrong about being a tubster - the only way to prove it is PICTURES   :pfft:

I knew that was where this was heading!! Once I can actually pose - as in stand vertically - I'll THINK about it!
