Thanks BG. Think I'll stick to AM training. PM just saps any energy I may have started with.

Off from Tues to Tues next week - so will be having another "rest". Think I'll be doin some road runs, but no gym.

Think the lack of a good nights sleep and lacking attention to nutrition were a factor in todays pathetic effort. Everything felt really heavy. A week off is unlikely to help either. Get into Christchurch at 10pm tonight......so another late one on the cards.

OK - so 3" heels have had to suffice. In saying that, I'm not sure that even flats would be helping the pain I'm feelin in my glutes and hammies. Kinda happy, 'cause that means workout was successful. Kinda in pain, and not enjoying walking, sitting, CLIMBIN STAIRS TO OFFICE (read: agony).

Didn't train this morning - I have my bi-weekly run with a mate. Should be interesting - a hill run over the farm, mmmmmmmmmmm, more pain comin my way!

I sorta new I was going to hurt today. Riding the horses last night was 'tender'.

Chest & tris tomorrow - I bet driving the horse truck Sat morn is going to hurt!

Getting better.....slowly. Last nights run was a bit of a joke. The final hill was agony (intense burning in glutes! :shock: ). This mornings cardio seems to have freed things up a little.

No training yesterday - got frickin side swiped on the motorway on Sunday by some bitch that did a runner. GRRRRR. However, today is another day and I'm movin on!

Hey Flamey.. How did the comp go??

Pluses & minuses. They both flipped out for the dressage, and they both dropped poles in the show jumping (1 pole = 4 faults, 7 poles = lots of faults!!). The pluses being they both blitzed the X country. Will try post photos in next couple days.

Slight problem now is that I've found some muscles I had forgotten I had!! Triceps and forearms are killing me - typing and writing hurt. Butt hurts, abductors hurt, back hurts, shoulders hurt.............HANDS hurt! :shock:

Next up - Hunua, March 1st. Only taking the one, too much with the two.
