As much as I would love to be gettin more ink done...not a the moment. Nothing has ever been said, but I'm pretty sure what I have already may have negatively affected my placings in the past.

Nar I doubt it they can't do that. I don't think I will get more for that reason too haha for a few years any hoo but boy they hurt and I'm such a baby! :cry: Aren't they sexy on men =P~

Agreed!! :nod: The pain is only in your mind - it's only as bad as you let it be! Although, lower back did hurt a little. Would rather be pierced anyday really!

20kg w. legs up x 10, 10 (these were more for form - touch to chest, no stop at top)

Incline DB Press

15.5kg x 6, 6

13.5kg x 8, 10

Incline DB Flys

2P x 10 x 3

1P x 15 x 2

DB Tri Extension

8.5kg x 8 (too fatigued)

6kg x 12 x 2

2 Bench Dips w. 10kg plate x 10 x 3

Chest Dips (BW) 5, 6 (both sets were to failure)

20 min X Trainer L10 (288cals)

Not a bad workout, although I have a tendency of tryin to throw my body weight behind the weight when I start to fail. Must stay straight. Which is why last sets at 40kg & 20 kg I had feet off floor and in air. Form needs work. Also, may need to look at hand positioning - think I have them spaced too wide.

105kg x 1, 1, 1 (PB - pretty messy on the first one)

60kg x 5 (working on form - it's just a reverse squat!)

(weight increase on theze next week)

DB Bench Row 21kg x 8 x 3

Cable Pulldowns 6P x 10 x 3

Hanging Leg Raise 10 x 3

Cable Crunch 8P x 12 x 3

Good session - 105kg was a mental thing. Spent too long at the bar thinkin about it, instead of just lifiting it. Light weight next week (80kg) but will increase reps. Back feels OK, but hands are killing me.

I know what you mean about the psyching yourself out part.. The best lifts I've had were when I was just like f*ck it, loaded up the bar and lifted it without worrying about foot placements/hand positioning etc.. and it ended up being a good lift anyway :) Sometimes all that little stuff just stress us out and overcomplicate things !

Thank P&W & BG! Thought I would of been feelin that a whole lot more - but I'm not actually overly sore. I think the 100kg was more painful! Will be another week or so before I try goin up on these. Will stick to high volume next week @ around 80kg.

Tuesday - at home in bed. Headache from hell, NO energy. EVERYTHING was a mission.

Bit of a change in focus required. I've looked at calander, and I will be missing so many workouts next month due to "other" committments, so........Focus is on to get abs back and to just work on bench, squat & dead. Limited accessory work. PLENTY of cardio to make me cry daily!

Deadlifts

80kg x 6, 5, 4 (grip problems, right hand each time)

Those are great lifts, especially if you're doing them raw (no straps). Do you use an opposed grip (one supinated, one pronated) or are both hands the same? I've found opposed grips helps me get the last few out.

Always use opposed grip -just feels 'right'. No straps - don't believe in them for deads, unless your doin stiff leg.

I am struggling to fit in ALL my 'other committments'. Horses are getting their share, but tri training seems to get missed. Will try after Xmas to get a plan goin for more training. Although, a week or so with my parents down at the bach will probably have me out most days with dad training (hope I can keep up).

It's just 'that time of year' that some things will suffer. Even horses got limited attention last weekend as I was jump judging/helping at the Puhunui 3 day event. While there I got asked (conned?) into helping for the next one too. I hope it's less windy - 6 hours sitting on a jump writing crosses or ticks, "first refusal rider'........gets a bit much in gale force winds!

No time for cardio! :grin:

Decided to super set everything to save time - don't know that it did. If I was feelin it after the box squats, I was REALLY feeling it after lunges & SLDL. Reason for box squats is I have a mental issue with going to depth once the weight gets up. It's mental because I actually have no trouble movin the weight.

Monday is heavy deadlift day - aiming to better my single rep 105kg. So, Wedneday will be squat for day - more 60kg box squats to make sure I'm hitting depth (ATG styles).

Here's to hoping I will be able to walk better by the weekend!!

Loadsa sympathy...I shifted the focus on my quads to inner, not outer, on Monday - and today they woke up to the fact they'd been worked-over, so it's the John Wayne walk for me.

What's worse, I want help with form on squats so I'm gonna hit them with PT tmw... and I have a feeling the missus wants to drag me all over town looking at furniture. Does Harvey Norman allow golfcarts in the shop?

Whoa nice squating Flamer! :clap: I totally get what you mean about box squats and depth, I shit my daks for some reason ha ha not literally mind you :pfft: Get spooked by deep squats and heavy deads I do :?

Deads kinda psych me out. Like getting to 100kg - tryin to get past there is more mental than physical I feel.

I get more spooked goin heavy on bench - again it's a hittin depth and getting stuck kinda spooked.

Reverse Grip Bench

40kg x 8 (too heavy)

30kg x 10, 10

(first time doin these - kinda weird. Found they hit my front delts kinda hard)

CG Bench 30kg x 12, 10, 10 (last few reps on 2nd & 3rd set spotted, not pretty at all)

Incline Bench Press 25kg x 8 x 3 (didn't dare go any heavier, chest & tris pretty shot)

Incline Flys 8.5kg x 10 x 3 (shakin like hell, becoming a half rep hero!)

40min X trainer L10 (531 cals)

OK - so if I can actually steer the horse truck this weekend I'll be really surprised! There is a definite warm glow through my chest, tris and front delts.
