Crikey your are going hardcore, early night for you by the sounds of things. I did 9.30pm feeling good today

Wasn't a late one, but I'm feelin the low carbs. It's havin the desired effect so far, but I may need to have a wee re-feed Sat or Sun. Got chest tonight and a million things to do before I go away for the weekend.

Dark chocolate, gooey raspberry centre - damn lucky there was only the one, which my admin dept had been taunting me with for three days. I'm gona stop waving my boiled chicken under their noses now!

How are you feeling about the results Flamer?

I think a lot can change in 22 days, nearly a month. If you drop 1% per week which is easy you will look awesomerrrrrr, I think figure girls look too yuck too much under 10%. I know your goal was 8% but I re'con you won't be far off that or could do that still. I was 10% (bugger) on the Thursday so probably just under at comp which is fatty batty for a physique person and I'm suppose to be waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay less but tough tits did the bizzo any who.

I'm pretty optimistic at the mo. I think it's probably had the desired effect and given some additional motivation.

Shoes - check, bikini - check, music - check, posin - check, tan - check.

Nearly there!

woohoo.gif I'm glad you're deciding to compete! After all that hardwork, and BG's right - you're right on target for Nationals

Oh gawd, I LOVE tim tams! I'm quite partial to the ones with the caramel centre though.. nomnomnomnom. They're never safe around me lol.

Caramel -mmmmmmm! 3 more weeks.

Saturday 4th Oct (big day & it's only half 3!)

Pre brekky cardio - 50 min walk

Post brekky cardio - 90min walk

500 metre swim in Pilot Bay, Mt Maunganui. Doesn't sound far does it.......it was choppy & a tad cold. My shoulders are kinda sore. First time in my wet suit in over a year, glad Dad took it easy on me.

Will see if I have the energy to go for a walk later.

Stay strong and hang in there Flamer, it's tough going training and dieting for the Nationals but the rewards of getting on the Nationals stage will more than make up for all the hard work, pain and sacrifice.

I've had some sole searching during my Nationals prep as well but i'm still hanging in there.

We dont get satisfaction from doing things that are easy or well within our capabilities, we get satisfaction from overcoming great obstacles then setting new goals!

Best of luck for the last 3 weeks!

LOL - thanks all. I have re-fed and re-focused, so I'm all guns blazing now!

I sorta like eggs whites - so seem to be coping a little better than you. But, I leave out the protein powder - it goes all rubbery!

Not feelin too bad after my swim - shoulders still feel a tad fatigued. 500 metres isn't much, considering Half Iron Man is 1500 metres! Makes BBing look a whole lot easier!!
