Tuesday 4/11

TRAINING - slack

Bench

Lots of different weights. Trying to get the arch and elbow tucking right.. tricky bugger. Feels like I'm relearning the whole bench press again :? Need to work on back flexibility.

Pullups

CARDIO - 60mins SS walking.

Was supposed to do more exercises, but just wasn't feeling it. Getting frustrated on the bench ruined the whole session dry.gif

Lifters may be weighed nude or in underwear which complies with the specifications set out in the appropriate section of the rule book and which does not effectively change the lifter’s weight. If a question exists regarding weight of undergarments, a re-weigh in the nude may be requested. In competitions in which women are competitors, the weigh in procedure may be altered to ensure that lifters are weighed by officials of their own sex.

Crack up. Undies weigh what? A whole 0.2g? :lol:

Yeah, I'm laughing now... but I might be the one asking to weigh in nude to make a weight class :pfft:

haha stuff that, no nude weigh in for you Poos haha Did you know you have to wear knee high socks for PL comp? OB said it is to catch the blood ewwwwwwwww

Yeah I haven't managed to get my form right on bench..........um ok.... or squats or deads :( Next week I will get some coaching and let you know if there are any tips and tricks. You seem pretty sussed from your past vids though.

LOL, yeah I've got heaps of crusty rugby socks to pick from for the comp. Mind you, its good that we have to wear them cos I'd rather have my ugly scraped and scarred shins covered from view anyway 26326e49.gif

Thanks in advance for any tips/tricks! Benching is a bitch - I've spent hours already scouring YouTube and google looking to see how other people set up. Feet have to be flat on the floor as well.

Cheers Angus. Nutrition's been pretty lax lately. Not enough protein.. argh.

IMO dips or Close grip benches or lying tricep extensions have more carryover to your bench than rope puish downs

..Ok, enough Happy New Year!'ing.. time to get down to b'nizz 8)

Haven't set foot in the gym for nearly 2 weeks! Have enjoyed the time off, but I'm raring to go now :twisted: Plus I just got the innernetz at home now, so there's no excuse not to keep up with this journal anymore..

New lifting goals:

Bench: 100kgs (75)

Squat: 120kgs (105)

Deads: 200kgs (160)

Brackets are current PBs.

Diet's been OK. Currently sitting around 73kgs at the mo, and wanna maintain at this weight.
