Yeah tried a novice meet.

Getup, have a nice big feed, grab your lifting belt a water bottle and rock up to the meet. You dont need a suit or wraps or whatever....

You'll find everyone very encouraging, even competitors.

Just get there and do your thing :)

Haha! Sorry bout that. Its my brother on the speed ball lol.

About the deads, it looks like your hips are shooting up too fast. Try to push your heels through the floor at the starting of the movement and keep your back tight. Nice front squats btw.

Thanks SS, and you're bang on about the deads - I'm finding it hard to sit back and pull 'back' instead of straight 'up' like I'm doing :oops: OB's given some helpful advice on this too which I'm still tryna work on :pray:
