Basic Training Supplements?

Can anyone tell me some basic supplements/vitamins/minerals that would be of benefit for me. I'm really just confused about what I need, I've been lifting (light) weights for a month or so but now that I've got my body used to it I'll be upping the weight and lowering the reps.

I'll be getting protein powder next week. What else(if anything) would be good for a beginner. Fish oils? Glutamine? Much like everyone else here I'm aiming to drop fat (20kg!! )and gain muscle. Don't wanna spend a fortune though so just the essentials please.

Oh, and I get super wasted and can't walk properly after doing squats. Is that normal or am I pushing myself too hard too fast. There's no pain or stiffness the next day though so I've been thinking it's okay and that I'm just a weakling. :pfft:

Thanks

I think everyones "essential" supplements can vary from person to person. You need to find out which ones work for you rather than wasting your money on supps your body doesnt respond to and you end up just pissing them out...

Think most people have that feeling after training legs!!!

Protein Powder

Glutamine

Creatine

Flaxseed Oil?

Fat-burner?

Wouldn't bother within the first 6 months of training buying anything more than post workout whey protien. Leave the sups till you plataue or gains slow. Your body will be happy to add a fair bit of muscle even on a basic diet.

wat about COKE sam?
