my 1st report from the new gym

what a dungeon,

lol, Awesome workout mate, a lot of volume there, leg pressing is looking VERY heavy, how much can it hold?

Have you measured your thighs lately? They must be getting bloody huge!

it can hold i would say.. 20 pps mayb more. its a beast.

legs are 27.5 just measured now.

Nice Leg press. Yeah in My hurry I wore my cushioned running shoes and squatting in them with a heal is NOT fun . good stuff on front squats too.

yeah those damn shoes. i need to buy chucks asap!!

the front squats were good. i can feel them working my quads HARDER than regular squats.

As though its a bad thing :P .. whens the last time you complained your backs too wide or your biceps were too huge 8) ?? .. I know your just kidding, but yes Im sure Jono/Growth have some gene mutations !

i honestly feel i out train/eat most ppl. i dont have the best genes in the world. see my before pic in the pics section :grin:

btw the dbs at this gym are all labeled in LBS so ill just post them as that.

they go from 5-170lb in 5 lbs jumps. plus they h ave magnets you can stick to them to make then slighty heavier etc

incline db press

there incline bench is twice the incline of my old gyms one,, so obviously i couldnt use as much weight.

the dipping bars are much wider than at my gym. so im gonna have to get used to those b4 i add weight to avoid injury.

Seems like the new gym has some good points and bad, like deegee said, it always takes a while to get used to a new gym.

Are there any other gym options in your area?

theres les mills.

i really duno what im gonna do. it will prolly take a month to sort out what gym etc.. and get my training back on track

I also find that lat pulldown machines vary greatly gym to gym, some of them ive seen are so bad that everytime you pull the stack up it shaves tiny filings of metal off the stabilizing bars.

DB rows are HEAVY!!! Looks like if you were to stick to the new gym it would work wonders on your back huh.

sounds like this new gym is working well for you. nice increases

yeah the dl felt so good. the form was so solid.

this gym provides chalk etc. so i chalk the hands :grin: makes a diff

just shows once you have good facilities you can make good gains.
