Oh. Done that off a bike, can exactly see how it'd blow a rotator cuff. Not really a laughing matter...

Just tell him you're wearing spurs and that'll work :pfft:

Solid trainings Flamer :)

Are you still doing the Waikato comp next weekend?

Thanks Poos. Yeah, still doin Waikato. Won't come in very lean - but I'm more doin it to trial a few things.

1. Trying Contest Colour for my tan

2. Goin to try a mod fat/high carb load night before

3. Need to get sodium intake sorted, as I cramped BADLY at Counties (couldn't put tan on my feet as I couldn't bend down!)

If I can get "the formula" sorted now Nats will be a breeze

Did you find the cramping was a result of taking herbal diuretics Flamer?

The first comp I did I used them and looked poor, the second comp I did I didn't take any and just used a Green Tea based themo and shed more water as a result.

Even though the latest ones are Potassium sparing which means they supposedly let you excrete sodium whilst maintaining potassium, I'm not convinced.

Yeah, diuretics! Was taking potassium (Span K), but maybe not enough. This is one of the "issues" I need to resolve.

If you are doing alot of shows before the Nationals you may find trying a show with out them might be the go?

One line of thought is that if you attempt to shed too much water too early(5-6 days of progressive diuretic use) you body will actually hold on to a thin layer of water despite the extra potassium.

I found my first comp I felt pretty weak and depleted on them but with out them on my second comp I felt good.

Obviously other factors could also be responsible for this also but I suspect at least part of this was from using herbals diuretics the first show and not the second.

Your flys are primo, no wonder they were "had" haha hard!! I usually only do 10s and 12.5s for flys and low weight for cables too, but make up for it with heavy on other excercises :)

So incline you are doing bar + 7.5's = 30kgs right? Noice

Gord makes me tired just looking at all your cardio there girl!!

Had - lol, I am so not a typist! Focusing on flys and incline only for chest really. General concensus has been that that is all that is required to obtain what I need for my class.

Correct 30kg inclines - it has been my weakest lift, along with my rear delts - neglected for far too long.

Gotta love that cardio huh?

Flamer, I was going through that ish last week. Everything just felt like such a big effort and strength/moods were shit :(

Personal question maybe.. :shifty: But are you nearing your monthly's? That + extra stress was what stuffed me up bigtime.

Nah, it's more a feelin of really low blood sugar, or being out of it?? Was doin cardio last night and had to cut it short before I passed out. Hands and face kinda tingly! And, no, not that time either :-s

If it were me, I'd be looking at diet and thermos, and possibly dehydration, with that pins-and-needles feeling...low blood sugar, or low blood pressure, possibly caused by a lack of blood volume?
