This is about where the evening went to custard. Got a text - horse is injured, and there is blood! Blatted home, couldn't do much in the dark. In the light of this morning things aren't so good. Not the end of the world, but my days will now begin with changing dressings before AM cardio and end in much the same way for the next week. Not the end of the world and she will be fine (yet to see what physio says - yes horse goes to physio!), but timing SUCKS.

Went on a boat cruise from Pine Harbour to Clevedon Pub down the Wairoa today - so food was shit. Tomorrow is another day, so will move on. Big cardio day tomorrow - in between changing dressings!

sad.gif Aww, how did your horse get injured?? And I didn't know horses's had physios.. lol.

Being an idiot essentially. One of the kids that live at the property left a gate open and they (I've got two) got on to the lawn. When they got caught there my older boy bolted back into the paddock. My younger one (injured one) paniced, ran, saw fence too late, skidded and vaulted over. From what the guys told me she's lucky she doesn't have a broken neck!

Unfortunetly, there was a concrete slab in her way, which is where the missing flesh/skin came into the equation.

There was a plus to yesterday - horses leg has reduced in size (nowhere near as swollen) meaning I shouldn't have to call vet in. Wound looks good and there is less heat around the knee - all points to no infection and a swift recovery. It occured to me this morning that not having to ride eithe of them (I turn the old boy out over winter) gives me a whole lot more cardio time - YIPPEE :(

Great news :)

And nice work with the facepulls & incline raises! My lifts are sucky with the rear delts stuff. Now I know why I have none :pfft:

After months of determined effort with the face pulls, lying raises and just added WG T-Bars I think I'm seeing some improvement. I have been hitting them at least twice a week.

You are doing awesome Flamer, not long now  Just listen to your body and if you can't face your cardio as long as your diet is going well and you are getting your posing practice and routine done you will be great! 8)

LOL - that is why there's so much cardio, 'cause diets been found....lacking at times. Funny though, last year just came in "skinny" as far as I'm concerned anyway. Have managed to preserve a whole lot more muscle this year (possibly too much for figure?? - we'll see I guess)

Posing practice still giving me a sore back and quads screaming at me - damn shoes :?

Yeah I dont' think I could do the shoe buzz I would fall over on stage and break my neck! I have some big stillettos for work and going out but posing is a little different. Well if you getting more muscular may be your next show you can consider physique :D

Saturday 7th June

1 hour cardio on wind trainer. Didn't get around to a second hour, but diet was good so I'm not too worried.

Sunday 8th June

1 hour cardio on wind trainer. Book was getting really good and I was getting faster as it got more intense - was a good AM session!

My bike is set up in one of the sheds on the farm. My timer went off same time as my landlord came to find me in shed - jumped out of my skin!! Freaky timing and I was so engrossed in book.

Will try and do a 1 hour (prob 40min! ) PM session.

How DO you read on a wind-trainer? I just don't seem to be able to zone-out enough except with an MP3 player, never mind holding on to a book!

I've got tri bars on my bike. Relax down on the bars, book rests nicely. MP3 player works for me on the cross trainer, but not on my bike.

Oh....finally under the 60kg sticking point I've been stuck on. Weighed in Sunday 59.6kg - at last.

All the plans coming together in time - well done! Sounds like those diet worries were groundless?
