Yes - I reckon a bit of cardio equipment for the home will make a huge difference. Are you currently having to go to the gym 2x a day at do everything at present? Glad the job is going okay and you are back on track, and getting into a routine. My hat goes off to you for holding all these things together in your life (including kids!). Was wondering are you having any veges with your lunch other that potato? Also - any other oils other than the PB at breakfast? Hunger and energy levels okay at the moment?

I have my kids alternate weeks, when I have them gym at lunchtime, hence need for something at home. Getting a skipping rope in the interime tomorrow, looking to get bike soon. Nup TFB don't have a normal bike, hmm except a Pink Polly Pocket bike but that is my 5 year olds haha.. Week I don't have my girls I hit the gym 2-3 times per day.

No vegies at lunch and I have a bit of olive oil with my tuna, suppose to sling flaxseed oil in it but man that stuff is a rip off! CLA and evening primrose are oil based so have those too. Never hungry at the mo so all good. My potato is loaded haha like a gun!! 1st day 100gm, 2nd day 200gm, 3rd day 300gm, today is 300gm day, which is too much but I eat it.

Its a good set up, kids get to spend time with both parents week on week off, get the best of both worlds. Cheeky Ngapuhistrong don't quite know what you mean from that, you and 2guns are just as nuts as each other.

haha yep kids are full on, I had my 2, 2 and 5 years, 11 and 13 and 29 year old mate who is just as silly haha

Will do a weigh in this Friday/Saturday and pop it up then.

20 mins skipping - I can imagine that ain't fun. But did you manage to find a place to do it okay where your ceilings were high enough? or did you go outside and do it in the dark !

Good luck with the kids! BTW - What do they all think of their mum competing? any interesting responses?

haha nar skipping ropes set correctly should be not much more than the actual height of the person, so me being 5'5 I'm not going to have any trouble with hitting my ceiling, made a bit of a racket jumping up and down in the lounge watching telly, bit of fun!

My children are only 2 and 5 years old so think my pictures of past competitions are cool and know I go to the gym a lot but don't really understand the concept. I have told them Mummy will get painted brown and they will get to watch me show off my muscles soon on stage in a bikini.

Just trained legs, will pop on later this evening after I have had all my meals and possibly do some lunges later and a skip in the lounge again :)

Yeah skipping sucks, will pump up the cardio soon, probably a bike in my lounge.

Today I was in such a rush to drop the kids off I forgot my stinking food!

Thanks Flamer, but you know days when you can push out 12-15 reps easy peazy lemon squezy and other days its hardcore pushing out 8, it was one of those days... think its cause I missed my egg whites haha Can't wait to bust out 60kgs with the big 20's on...sounds bit lamo haha

Stink it is raining. Childless week from tomorrow so good excuse for more time in the gym this weekend till next Thursday :grin:

Today 40min run on treadmill L9 at lunch time

Food: vogel+pb, tuna+50gms rice crackers, 150gm chicken+veggies, Aussie Bodies Protein Delite (22gm protein, 7.1 fat, 5.1 carbs) mmm yum :shifty: , beef+veggies for dinner, hot choc

My new job is fab, go to visit clients on the other end of town 20min power walk there and back each time, try to have a couple of client visits each day, but NOT power walk that fast as to get all gross and sweaty when I meet as that would be just yucky haha :pfft:

Yeah stink alright. Rain + cold = grumpy PnW. Going to the local pools and chilling in the hot spa helps though :nod:

Today went for a big over 1 hour power walk along Waikanae beach in the sun it was bliss :grin: Back in Wellies now and up tomorrow at 6am for cardio :shock: haha na I actually enjoy it

Chins/pullups are weird exercises in that I think alot of it is psychological. I did assisted pullups for AGES, then one day I was like fcuk it, tried it unassisted.. and really surprised myself.

I've recently started buying the chopchop chicken too (the stuff in the can aye?) its not too bad!
