I just finished in IT recruitment and moving into IT business development manager for a IT consulting firm. Better $$$, carpark, they even have cashew nuts and biscuits in the kitchen FLASH Man!! not that I can look at them :? Bit nervous too, natural I suppose but will be a great new challenge.

Yeah went to my mates last night for dinner and she had made like vegies with bits of steak and chicken, very nice. She is a bodybuilder and so is her partner. She did my measurements so I will post them up when I get them through. I have only lost 1.4kgs bit on my arse and waist and gained on my back, but I big lats.

147 days / 21 weeks till NZFBB qualifer Masterton 27 Sept

Met with my mate, top NZ/Australisian BB/Trainer, did my measurements below and got me on new diet which I have started today, also below. Need to do 5 days cardio now :shock:

9/2/08Weight 72kgs

bicep 33, back relaxed 96, spread 102.2, waist 81.2, glute 99, top thigh 59.2, mid 50, calf 27

20/4/08Weight 70.6kgs

bicep 33.2, back relaxed 96.8, spread 104.7, waist 80.7, glute 97.5, top thigh 59, mid 49.5, calf 27

New eating plan:

Morning 1xvogels with peanut butter

M/T 4 egg whites 1 yolk

Lunch Tuna 100gm Potato (2nd day 200gm, 3 day 300gm and so on)

A/T 4 egg whites 1 yolk

Shake

Dinner lean meat / vegies or salad

Went for a 40 min run this morning around the bays in the sun that was nice. My calves hurt :evil:

Thanks mate. Only prob is I have a thick waist but the lats/back make up for it I guess and just my back bigger/thicker. My mate wasn't impressed with my legs either so going to start on some shaping excercises and she will check out my form, positioning of feet etc... as in leg press bla bla see if I can get a bigger outside sweep on the quad.

Big challenge with competing plus new job.

Was wondering what has been the response of your new place of work to your eating plan? (have you arrived with the tupperware containers yet and taken over the fridge?)

Also - was wondering how do you get on in terms of practicalities.

e.g. taking egg whites etc to work? Do you cook them at work in the microwave or do you hard boil them, chuck out yolks etc? How do you deal with the smell in the work environment...

Tuna and potato - do you heat it up or eat it cold etc?

Look forward to following your progress. I plan to go to the Masterton event - so it will be great seeing your end result.

Don't start my new job until the 12th May so lady of leisure at the mo.

I think I will do everything the night before, I tend to bake the Potato chop it and sling in the container eat cold or hot not bothered aye. I do the eggs all together in a pan half it and put in containers. Same eat hot or cold the next day depdending if I am out and about visiting clients etc...

Always leave a tub of protein and shaker at work and set at home too so not to worry about carrying that shit about as well as gym gear.

My mate/trainer works for them as well, they know what I am up to and said enjoy your time off at the gym before you start.

Increased muscle mass on back, lost fat on tum, bum mostly, mistery to me mate haha look leaner so must have grown some muscle on parts and lost fat also. With my last comps I was still increasing muscle mass / decrease in fat right the way through up to comp dates, mostly increases on bi's, back, quads and fat melting off, mind I'm an old fart now so will be interesting to see what the results will be this time around.

Funny shit is I look bigger, but weigh less, clothes dropped a size, fluid retention to max from creatine which sucks arse!

Yep will do the NZBB Challenge for sure, good timing too as haven't done pics since 1 April.

That's great news, sounds like you're in a good space to really hit the training hard - support in new job, good trainer, and a body that's already responding well.

Fluid's a mind-fark - but you already know how to manage that and hit the stage nice and dry, I'd bet :D

With all the NZBB'ers doing Masterton, it'll be well worth the drive over the hill!

I'm retaining fluid too.. sometimes I look preggers with all veggies and water I'm taking in :evil: Someone at work even asked me if I was bitch.gif

So no protein until morning tea? Just carbs and fats ? Does the vogels and PB last for a while or do you think it will be replaced in a few weeks (oats?). It is great you have a bit of space before your new job starts to get your Comp plan organised.

Nup aparently the oats might me keeping me blotted so doing the vogel for a month to see how I go. Yeah no protein till M/T, bit of a funny one but hey giving it a crack. Just trained and weak as will post up later on tonight after eating.

Seated Preacher 15kgsx10, 15x10, 20kgsx6

DB Curls 10x10kgs, 8x10, 6x10 :shock: bugger

Concentration curls 6kgsx10, x8,x8,x8,x8,x6,x6

Diet: 1pc vogel+peanut butter, horleys protein bar after training (man that was a nice treat) :shifty: , rest of the day will be 4 whites 1 yolk, tuna+potato, protein shake with water, chicken + veggies

Thats awesome progress, you must be doing things right.
