I have no idea what DOMS mean, I read it on all your journals and think hmmm I must ask hehe Shoulders hard as today, not sore at all. I'm a grumpy tired shit today grrrrrrrrrrrr haha my boss thinks I'm just normal so I mustn't act shitty :grin:

DOMS= Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness...in my case, it takes a muscle group about 24 hours to work out it's dead, then it screams blue murder! I'm sure there's a scientific explanation out there somewhere, all I know is that when it turns up, so does Mr Snarly-at-the-customers :x

But if your shoulders are hard but not sore, that's just perfect!

AM 45min Xtrainer and some straight leg lifts 3x10

Arvo 40 min brisk walk

PM Legs urgh!

90 walking lunges with 10kg dumbells legs are sore

Squats 60kgsx10, 70kgsx10, 80x10, 80x8

um what else

oh Laying leg curl 100lbsx10 - 4 sets

Leg Extn 35kgsx10 - 4 sets

Rotary Calve 45kgsx20 - 4

Then pissed off to buy chicken $13 bucks something at pak&sav chicken pieces but I only had to cut off one itsy bitsy bit of fat for the cat CHOICE!

Loosing the plot. Having my 4th green tea nice :)

eek.gif How the heck do you manage 80kg squats for reps on the amount of food you're eating? Impressive!

De-carb plan:

Diet remains the same until this sunday, then no carbs

Sunday AM just

150gm chicken 5 asparagus spears,

100gm chicken 1 head brocolli,

150gm chicken,

100gm chicken 1 head brocolli,

200 grm chicken 5 aspragus spears,

100gm chicken,

4-6 boiled egg whites.

Friday 17th Oct is

100gm kumara 100gm chicken,

1 small bobby banana,

1/4 cup unsalted cashews,

100gm kumara,

150gm salmon 1/2 cup rice,

red wine 1/2 HPLC bar

Comp day

1/2 cup rice 100gm kumara,

7am 12/ hplc bar,

8am 1/2 hplc bar,

9.30am 1/4 cup cashews, wine and lollies before pump up.

Lunch something meat/cheesy with sauce but no bread (I think this means no cake too :( ).

Bolded best bits hehe

Lots of super setting/drop sets, high reps next week, water load then deplete 7 litres, 5, 4, 3, 2, 500ml sip on contest day.

lol @ the bolded bits.. wine and lollies! \:D/ And you know you've been deprived when you're looking forward to 1/2 an HPLC bar :P

Wow - severe diet, esp the "boiled egg whites" - I dunno how you could do that, I'd go nuts. Have you tried liquid egg whites (pasteurized/ frozen so they're safe) - I drink them with a p/s, but what you'd have left from that diet to flavour them with is a mystery... :(

I had like a 5 minute gass bag session with mate between 80kg squats, she made me whip my clothes up/down/side ways in the gym to check my progress haha I didn't mind. Feedback bit flat, but nothing a good week of depletion won't fix and getting rid of my dam fluid!

I found my legs were very sore and shaky, but the lunges the worst of all and had only a wee leg workout as I was stuffed. Zombiefied!

Saw my mate at pak'n'save last night and he is doing nats we didn't make much sense when chatting and we were both rushing home as starving peoples to eat our lovely egg whites with grumpy faces haha

Nup people have told me about the liquid egg whites, may be next time give it a go, seems a waste slinging all the yolks away, though I suppose the company does that that makes that product in bottles any hoo. My cat likes a yolk or too, lovely shiny coat :grin: Can make custard and pop as glaze on pies etc... says Mum and I'm like f*ck off I'm not making those things for the kids its bad enough making nutella of freeking toast!!

I was eyeing up the HPLC bars last night thinking should I buy them now. NO NO I did not I only got my uncle tobys rice as I know I won't be tempted to eat that before comp day. I oogled and stiffed quite a lot of stuff in the supermarket, must look a lion on the hunt with craized look in my eye I re'con, what a nutter!

I feel guilty throwing away egg yolks too.. are they good for cats' coats? Ok to give to dogs too?

I give all my yolks to my dog...he's getting a bit sick of them I think and he's so friggin hairy :x :x you wouldn't notice if it was shiny or not!!!!!!!

Actually, when I was using fresh eggs, I saved-n-froze the yolks and gave them to my sister-in-law for her cafe, she was sooo happy and I got to sniff the baking that she used 'em for!

Just imagine BG, in only a few more days you'll be able to go into the supermarket and actually put things in the cart :nod:

Decline bench 40kgsx10, 10, 8, 8 tired

Cable x overs 15kgsx12, 18x10 - 3 couldn't do 21 today

Down my zig zag, down 143 steps, run down hill, up 177 steps, power walk up hill x 8 times = down 1144 steps, up 1416 (thats the tough bit) = 2560 steps. Must admit I didn't run the last one I was stuffed.

Going to train out Hutt and pop in the BIGKIWI's Protein Bar today. Um Back and bi's poss cardio after or may leave that till tonight. Not sure if I will do my lunges warm up today as steps hammer legs. Just want to hit legs every day as upper body good, lower body always not as lean. Try do do abs most days too.

Must admit I am over the egg white buzz, good as tomorrow only a few to consume up till Nattys phew. Nearly gag with those fuckers now!

Yeah but it dam near killed me poos. I can only manage 1-2 heavy excercises and the rest is shite. Starting tomorrow is all light supersets/dropsets but will still be hard.

Not in a good way today I threw a paddy at the gym when doing eazi bar curls there was another eazi bar on the rack below, which if I had half a brain or inclination should have removed. When extended I knocked it, finished my set picked it up and threw it across the gym. My training partner was like "wo are you ok!?".

On the way back to town I had a bit of road rage and screaming f'ing and blinding and dooting at this fool going 90km in the fast lane so I under took her at 130km and gave her the finger with some choice words. My mate just laughed at me and said I needed some carbs! What a muppet :roll: Me not my mate :grin:

Hey, if it was the Hutt Road you're entitled... 90km is an invitation to a shunt on that piece of road!

Gotta say I'm impressed with those zig-zag runs, I tried something similar and it damn-near killed me so well done!

Counting the sleeps yet 'til next Saturday?
