MAD cardio day  haha

I live on a big hill by the airport and can see most of Wellington.

Down Zig Zag = 143 steps

Run down Road

Up steps to my street = 277 steps

Power walk up hill to zig zag

Did this 5 times took exactly 40 mins = 715 steps down / 1385 up (thes are hard) = 2100 steps

Feeling great, knees/legs a bit wobbly.

Breakie time and it is 11am haha I love the weekends

26 days till comp - mad cardio day no. 2

Yesterday was 40 mins 2100 steps, today I did: 42 mins 2520 extra lap for 2 mins so well chuffed, legs/calves/glutes are screaming!

Down Zig Zag = 143 steps

Run down Road

Up steps to my street = 277 steps

Power walk up hill to zig zag

Did this 6 times took exactly 42 mins = 858 steps down, 1662 steps p = 2520

Sweet baby Jesus eek.gif

Your legs must be made of steel! Were you wearing a pedometer during it? Or just counting it out?

Kudos to you for getting in the gym and doing a leg workout after all that - light or not!

(ok so this week I have tried a couple of days and replaced my carb=kumara 100gm for PB or nuts, still getting leaner so not sure if body reacts better to fat then carbs feel better with fat re energy/mentally)

Should be interesting to note  You're doing awesomely on the lower carb diet - have you also noticed that cravings are shot to hell after a while of having none?

Thanks Poos/Flamer. I counted the steps a couple of weeks back :pfft: only the actual steps themselves on the zig zag and up to my street, doesn't include the power walking / running inbetween.

I get cravings all the time, I want lollies and chocolate!!!!! I don't think cravings ever go away which is sucky. I am looking forward to a wine though FANTASTIC hehe

Some days are good some are shit as you know. I came home today and crashed big time, but had to get my ass off the couch to make meals and do my routine.

ITunes is cool records your play count, so practiced my routine 37 times tonight which took well over an hour taking into account rest and making green teas and a protein shake. Hope people don't think my routine is dorky haha

I use a supplement which takes my cravings from 100 to zero - it's awesome.

Actually it completely kills my appetite meaning I have to constantly force my meals down the hatch cos I just ain't hungry.

Right well SM told me chromium picolinate may assist with carb cravings. It is in a lot of protein powders, not mine but I was taking it but ran out, may be thats why I'm hungry again all the time! Any hoo I did a bit of research and now taking Hoodia. It is from the Hoodia Cactus and known as "African Kalahari desert magic". The Kalahari tribesmen use to take the hoodia cactus before going on big hunts and it would supress their hunger till they returned home with the kill. It is in a tea form by Morlife or in NFS Slimfast hoodia. Will let you know how I get on

Sups: multi, vit c, l-glutamine, glucosomine, CLA (just ran out), LEAN FX (thanks to BIG KIWI/Protein Bar), Carnatine, ZMA, Tribulus (just started), HMB, Vanadyl - just started these too. Oh and trying Hoodia tea and NFS Slimfast Hoodia, to see if it will stop me feeling hungry all the time. I rattle when I walk :pfft:

Feeling like a mad zombie, can feel body but not sore, dazed and confused most of the time, still able to train well but have dizzy spells now and then and just feel wacked. Looking leaner, vascular when I train, more definition. Happy with overall look but still want legs leaner. Problem area is still mummy tummy however I some days skin is tight others not, on comp day I think I will be fine.

Right better practice

Hey, I have 20/20 vision tantrum.gif

LOL. But seriously, from what I can see, you're looking great. Fantastic in fact, for the amount of time you've got left for prep. Keep at it with the training and cardio, there's still plenty of time! And it sounds like Jo's got things well and truly under control with the nutrition side of things  Chin up hey!
