OMG, you're not alone! I have this urge sometimes for fecking milo with full fat milk and sugar.

1. I don't like milo

2. I don't like sugar

3. I haven't drank full fat milk in yearrrssss.

IMO, the trick is not to cut it out completely, but to only have it at "allowable" times. Post-workout, for instance, a bit of Russian Fudge could actually be beneficial. That helps stop the cravings. :)

Hmmm...that's not such good advice really Pseudo.

IMO Russian Fudge has no place in a competition diet...even post work out.

Hey Big Girl - cheats keep sanity. I never feel bad, I just balance it out with a little more cardio. That extra (extra + extra) handful of nuts, those three potatoe chips, that macaroon - what ever. Eat it, love it, move on!

Some days I just need to eat something sweet real bad - it kinda takes over you like a form of desperation.... so I sure am guilty on that one.

I think I read somewhere about a top/Olympia/international Figure/Fitness competitor who rips into a dozen packets of artificial sweetner and just throws them (straight) into her mouth when she is like this.

Strategy-wise - For me - lately I have been putting a big spoonful of straight cooking cocoa (I buy the Nestle stuff in the tin from the cooking section of the grocery store), add a couple of sachets of Equal and hot water. It helps alot and has a few less carbs/cals and is less pricey than Jarrah etc. If I reach for that first then it buys me a bit of time and makes me think twice before reaching for something which could be even more wonderful in the moment but I would be sure to regret later....

Hmmm yeah I have one Jarrah hot choc each night. Have moments of madness (sugar cravings) now and then but usually they pass. I will just have to stick it out, have one treat per week. I don't want to look like arse on stage so, best I handle the jandal :grin:

Tried the T'bar rows all good, great for the rear delts as well but I really need some gloves for gripping, my hands are nasty and sore!

T'Bar rows 12x45kgs,10x50,10x55,7x60kgs

CG Seated row 10x55kgs, 8x60, 8x60 PB never done 60kgs (think the sugar last night helped :pfft: ) Def need gloves for these!

WG Chin ups assisted 36lbsx10 - 3 sets

Standing DB curls 10x10kgs - 3 sets

Rope pulls 12x18kgs, 10x21, 10x27, 10x27

Cables 18kgsx10 - 3 sets SS with more ropes 21kgsx10 -3 of

Food: forgot my dam breakfast so had tuna 185gm+18gm rice wafers, cashews, 185gm tuna+18gm wafers, cashews, fruit, eggs for dinner yep random and lazy, hot choc

Tommorrow off to Hutt City Les Mills for a couple of hours tomorrow as they have a creche for my little ones, then off to the Wairarapa for a couple of days. No cell phone, no internet, in the country so will have to go for runs. Mum has already told me I will have to mo the farm lawns (like 3 hours worth) for extra excercise :?

Nar just working off my cakes and pies aye haha kidding dunno see myself every dam day, but seem to be getting bigger, look leaner, bigger but the dam scales read 70kgs, tiny loss, however will need to do my BF% and measures again soon as fucking me off. HAHa we were hijacking Luigis journal almost. I bet your wife hasn't thrown a frypan at ya haha :pfft: Well I hope not :shock:

I'm sure you're putting on muscle while losing fat.. who cares about the stupid scales! And going to the Wairarapa should be good to clear your head for a bit - away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life :nod:

Yeah - those scales just get inside your head.

I guess you'll be in the 0/55 kg category, so at the end of the day the weight doesn't matter - just the look and it sounds like you're starting to really shape up. Like P&W says it may well be muscle as you have really cranked up your workouts. But I can appreciate that a body test would help reassure your mind.

Anyway - Have a good time away. You get those lawns nicely mown....and that will take care of a few kgs for sure.

Warmed up the Rotats

DB Press 12kgx12, 14kgsx10, 14kgsx10, 16kgsx8 Yeah baby!

DB Rear delts 6kgsx15 - 4 sets

Wide Grip Seated Row 19kgsx20, 26kgsx20, 33kgsx20 nice light, slow and controlled for rear delts

Alternate Front/Side raises 5kgsx15 - 3 sets

HS Press 15kgsx10, 20kgsx10 - 3 sets of - getting easier will up soon

Rockys 12.5kgsx20 (10 either side), 16kgsx8, 14kgsx7

Shrugs 22kgsx10 - 3 sets

Up Right Rows 20kgsx10 - 3 sets

Got me a rowing machine that I have been mucking about on for the last couple of days, I swear it is older than me, but not quite. :lol: Yes I know would be hard pressed to find one older than me ha ha Does the bizzo so will have a blast on that when stuck at home and need to get some extra cals off my ass :pfft:

Thanks, yep thank goodness for the lats, I have a wide waist so have to have a huge back to make it look smaller :wink: Don't really work on my abs but they quite big and stick out a lot, everyone will see what I mean when I compete. Bit strange, but just they way I am.

Yep DB's 16kgs each on Saturday and Hammer & Strength 20kgs each side, will pop up this week, machines are always easier of course but my free weights are going up too so well chuffed :D

One legged leg press 40kgsx10 - 3 sets wo Poos don't know how you do 90kgs one leg these are hard!

Seated Leg Curls 10x75lbs, 10x85lbs, 10x85lbs

Back to work

8pm 20 lunges with 10kg DB's - 3 sets

20 minutes skipping

Food: vogel+pb, tuna+4 corn thins, tuna+4 corn thins, 4 corn thins+pear (didn't have my shake), chicken+vege, 1xhot choc

I have a sore arse today thanks very much poos haha well it could have been the 60 lunges, not sure. Nar my Mums partner gave it to me on the weekend, believe me it is a relic it rattles about, but does the trick :pfft: Between that and my skipping rope I'm set, still want a bike though.

Incline Bench 30kgsx10 - 3 sets -ooh sore upper boobies!

No Decline as boys were hogging it!

DB Flys 10kgsx12, 12.5kgsx10, 12.5kgsx10

Dip Machine - unassisted 8, 5, 6, then with 18lbs 6, 7 man I use to do these with 20kgs dangling off my waist! I'll get there I suppose

Tri press 4pltsx15 - 3 sets

Ropes 2 plates 15 - 3 sets popped down one plate for better form

Food: vogel+pb, 4 egg whites 1 yolk, 2 corn thins, tuna 200gm potato few beans, 4 whites 1 yolk, 2 corn thins, cashew nuts small handful, tonight I will have beef & vegies and a jarrah hot choc.

Not sure if I will do any more weights or cardio tonight after kids go to bed as have a visitor coming, will see. I'll say "Yeah excuse me mate you watch the movie whilst I distract you and skip and huff and puff" haha OK that sounded a bit dodge! Over and out
